I've heard some rumbling FFXV may drop early next year, possibly in the same time frame as Witcher 3. I'm afraid to say that if it drops within like a week of Witcher, then FF will just have to wait a bit lol

A VGC member that we dont see much of anymore had a quote from me in their sig from perhaps 4 or 5 years ago relating to FFXV when it was FF XIII Versus.

It was something to the effect of:

Both myself and PS3 fans are looking forward to Versus more than FFXIII.  Myself since the games were announced, and PS3 fans since FFXIII went multiplatform.

It's not a matter of cash. Just that if it happened like this Witcher would have priority from me and especially as it concerns RPGs I don't like to bounce back and forth between these games. Breaks the emersion for me. I would have to focus on one, and wouldn't play the other for a good while. 

I suppose I could still buy it day one. Just wouldn't play it
