Wii U is an 8th-gen console, therefore X is an 8th-gen RPG, therefore its graphics are not an acceptable reason for its exclusion from IGN's poll, and are entirely irrelevant to this conversation.

Okay, most of you know that on June 25th and 26th, IGN questioned 30,000 users on what games people are excited for for next gen, and various questions about the consoles. Nintendo games had a very small section after the main survey, but what bugs me is this article.

Basically it states that most people who think of themselves are hardcore RPG fans, are mostly excited about Witcher 3, and names a bunch of other PS4/One games these primarily RPG gamers like to play.

What bugs me is, I don't see X on the list. I don't think Nintendo games were listed because they were part of a separate section, and this is unfair. X is definatly one of the most interesting RPG's to come, and it's not included in this tabulation of results because it's a Wii U game? What are youre thoughts? Do you consider yourself a hardcore RPG gamer, and are you mostly excited about Witcher 3?

Xenoblade supported multiple controllers, so I don't doubt that this game will, as well.

And this is definitely an action RPG. Xenoblade plays a bit like a simplified MMO (simplified in that you bring an auto-attack, 8 different skills/abilities, and a special attack for each party member into each battle, as opposed to the dozens of abilities you have access to in a typical MMO).

One of my friends got into the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta and he says it reminds him of Xenoblade, so if you've been checking that out, the battle system in X will likely be somewhat similar.
