Particular PS3 fans give the normal ones a bad name. No, the Wii is not a fad just like the original PS and PS2 weren't. The Wii is supply constrained and still kicking butt. Get over it. Every generation has a leader. This time it's not Sony. There's a reason why. The XBox 360 is taking a lot of there customers and Wii has gone after people that weren't interested in video games any more. Wii went after people that used to play video games when they had to be fun because all of the graphics stunk. You know people that liked games like Space Invaders and Donkey Kong. I'm one of them. I like nice graphics but the controls on a game are more important to me then how beautiful it looks. Sony knows that motion sensing controls are the future also. They already have the ones that have tilt capabilities. Nintendos controllers have always been the most innovative. They started the control pad, analog stick, shoulder button, and now they have a control thats capable of being everything from a light gun to a can opener. Sony and Microsoft will both copy it. Mark my words. The Wii is a new way to play video games. It is in many ways the most jaw-dropping (in a good way) system since the original Atari. It is truly next generation. By the way, with all the money this system's making, I'm sure the next Nintendo system will have jaw dropping graphics as well. I repeat it's not a fad.

The real question is are there any wii's on shelves in America. If so the fads over(lol) and if not its short supplied. Well all of you Americans can you find any wiis on sale over there.

"If so the fads over" is also an insulting, loaded statement, and even if it was some how acceptable that the Wii was a fad, it would still be pretty fucking retarded to assume that its over from one week of sales in one country, where the Wii still outsold all of the other home consoles by a very large amount, wouldn't you agree?

 Sorry you misunderstood. I was joking around. I know the wii isnt a fad. I own one and I was making a lighthearted comment on people who claim the wii is a fad. sorry for that statement.

It's not sold out in most parts of Europe either.

We've seen the Wii rise and fall by hundreds of percentage points, and it drops 20 this week and "the fad is over"?
