Freedom Wars is releasing in 2014.  In Japan.  I don't think we'll see it at Gamescom to be honest.

If anything, I'm expecting/hoping for whatever Bend are working on to be announced; plus another new game for Vita from a western first-party studio.  But neither of them for a 2013 release.

wow, this must be the worst holiday lineup ever then. actually, they have nothing for the holidays. such a shame, KZ and Tear away will suffer in sales because the vita has nothing else to push the system in sales in Nov+ Dec, resulting in poor legs for KZ and TA. sony is handling the ps vita so bad it isnt even funny anymore

I expect at least one new quite big exclusive for the PS4, maybe some more smaller titles.

I hope there is nothing new for the PS3...cause for real, who the fuck would buy a PS4 if there would be even more exclusives for the PS3 for this year, or early next year. Guess they will show more of the same - GT6, R&C Nexus, Beyond Two Souls and so on.

As for the Vita...there is no hope. Maybe some gameplay footage from the "big" E3 announcements, God of War HD collection, Dead Nation and ALL those other games.
More small, and indie titles that noone will buy a system for and news about some japanese games coming to Europe that again not many people will convinced with.
Probably some gameplay from Freedom Wars and maybe, only maybe one or two new bigger first party games that would catter to the western gamers like for example new Sony Bend game.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

They say that about the Vita and then they disappoint me - over and over again. I'll be looking forward to the PS4 stuff, but I have come to accept the Vita for what it is and I'm fine with that.

The Vita is the best indie game portable device of all time. Who needs AAA titles on the go when I could be playing cheaper masterpieces. Can't wait for the slew of new indie titles they'll announce for it at Gamescom :^)

Contemplating learning Japanese purely due to how bad the Vita is being treated in the West.

it might be so, but indies dont move hardware. what they need is for games to move hardware. stuff like uncharted GA or a new gran turismo

But a lot of those games are being brought over. Far more than I think anyone would have expected.
