Forums - Sony - Bioshock Infinite still might come to Vita!

I don't think many people would be excited for an Infinite port at the end of 2014...

oh my god this thread already is so messed up... right now there are 6 replies of people who didn't read the user comments and / or only want to flame here.

to all... Bioshock Vita was never meant to be a port!

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

You don't say? I bought the fucking device because of Bioshock Vita in the first place.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

so you bought a console for a game which had no release date set, no screenshots, no gameplay vids, no explanation of gameplay / story, no trailer. did it even have a official logo?

that's a pity.

on topic: this game would be necessary. PS Vita needs another blockbuster to look forward to besides Killzone. All those Indiegames are cool but they are no reason to buy a 200€ device. we are now at a state where people start to realise the vita HAS games, but they feel the console is overprized. so now it's time for games which make the crowd really WANT to play. Maybe bioshock is one of these..

like people have already said the game was never sapose to be a bioshock infinite port, but a fully new bioshock game, so article is wrong

Well, Ken Levine himself stood on stage and promoted this game. It was good enough for me. I was not used to the Sony ways at that time, coming from the Nintendo side, where most of the announced games actually see the light of day (eventually).

Never forget.

Yep. They're just finishing up the WiiU port of Bioshock Infinite first before they bring it to Vita.

Hint: Infinite is not coming to either.

A unique BioShock for Vita will be crazy.... do that Levine.

At this point it wouldnt make sense because gamers are allready moving on from the main version

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Vita need a Bioshock exclusive that takes advantage of the system's uniqueness without feeling 'tacked on'. I would love for Sony to publish (or co-publish) the title. GTA Vita in the same vein would be nice as well. These games need time to breathe too. AC3 and AC3L together might not have been the best move for the Vita, but since Bioshock Infinite was already released it would be great timing to release Bioshock Vita (reduce canabalizing it).
