more power. I'm not a graphic bitch, but Nintendo need to think about power again

More 1st and 2nd party devs is what Nintendo needs, more power won't solve Nintendo problems.

hang on astep back and think about it. Power is all relative, If they can get the console juiced up WAY more than their competition they may be able to load in an AI and since all console next gen with always be connected all these AIs can work in tandem to create games for Nintendo lol. Alternatively every 24hours send them instircution of the task they need to do lol.

Ok so I am dreaming but one day that that may happen.

They need a mssive change even if the WiiU doesn´t fail (i think it already failed no mutter what happens now, unless the reach 100 M sales).

They need to build their own ecosystem of games to support their own hardware fully and forbid EA to ever again release anything for a Nintendo console and at the same time building their own sports franchises to fill the gap of EA sports.

Third parties in general should be allowed to release games on their platforms but with quality assurances (no cash in bullshit ala EA style)

...what I'm hearing is that they should rerelease the NES and re-adopt the mentality of that time.

Even not reading the article, I can say that Nintendo needs changes, anyway. As posters in this thread and recently Miyamoto said, they are adjusting and changing right now.

more 1/2 parties devs just to make others Mario games? I don't think we need more. Nintendo need more 3rd parties support

As long as 3rd parties can put games on a MS or Sony console, they won't support a Nintendo console. Power won't change that.

Nintendo and PC gamer

They won't fail. They'll sell at most 35 million units, and their flagship titles will be profitable for them.

Then you are hearing it wrong. There would be no limit to how many games a company could release and the quality controll would be there to avoid things like fifa 12 released as fifa 13

Now the world is weird  and people take Prozac  to make it normal.

Is marijuana the best medicine?

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

“If any creator has not played Mario, then they’re probably not a good creator. That’s something I can say with 100 percent confidence. Mario is, for game creators, the development bible.

A) Wii U is not going to "fail".

B) Nintendo continues to evolve as a company, which is GOOD. Just ask indie devs within the last year+. BUT, I would not want them to EVER change their core values or approach to how they make games, or the KINDS of games they make. In all honesty, they are one of only a small handful of major developers that still make games of an "old school" sensibility that actually APPEAL to me as a gamer. Nintendo, Vanillaware, Way Forward, Atlus, Sega to SOME extent (though they're a shadow of what they used to be). The list isn't very long, and it seems to get shorter. So I want Nintendo in THAT respect, to remain true to themselves, because they happen to make games I actually want to play. Not that I like EVERYTHING they make, but on average, they give me at least a couple of games a year that I like and enjoy. That's more than I can say for just about any other developer/publisher out there, anymore.

And this is coming from someone who used to love Capcom, Square, Enix, Midway, Konami, Namco, Sega, Rare, Hudson Soft, etc. etc.

They need to get third partiy support and create new AAA IPs. There are only so many marios that can be made before it gets old.

Nintendo problem is third party not first and second party.

Without power people will buy the multiplatform in Sony and Microsoft power that's why i think 3rd don't want to develop in Nintendo home console.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
