Is it easy to install and uninstall theses mods?

I never tried to install one.

On topic: I played Total War: Medieval 2. Almost 7 years old, but still looks very good when you max everything. One of the best RTS games.

Depends on the game as some are desinged with mods in mind. For Total War I think I installed a Game of Thrones mod with relative ease so I don't think it was too bad.
