I'm enjoying the Music a bit, the whole thing does feel a bit less tales-y then the one I've played (I've played Abyss, Symphonia, Graces, Vesperia)

The battle system is pretty awesome. The characters have been: great, great, good, ok, bleh. I don't like Teepo, He's more annoying than Mieu (japanese undub atleast), and feels more out of place in this game because Luke isn't abusing him.

Overall I feel it's definitely a good game, with the potential to be great. Though From what I've played, and heard there's a lack of minigames which is a bit dissapointing.  Though, I might suggesting picking up Vesperia on x360 since it's like 25 dollars. And then get this later. I know a lot of people that like Vesperia more.

So umm, to the people who bought this, how is it? I'm itching for a JRPG. I have not tried one this entire gen, but I was intrigued by a few trailers. How is it? What are the strong points? I might acquire it this month. Thanks!

Xillia is awesome man. I'm at 15 hours in and I'm having a blast with the combat, it seems addictive.  I started with Jude first and Milla is gonna be my second.

How do I get Milla's bikini?

I have enough to buy one costume, what should I get? lol

Well then, you've missed out on quite a bit.

Most people have had positive thoughts. Very enjoyable.

Strong Points are for sure gameplay and music.

Weak points are story and pacing.

That fits just about every Tales game though. It's definitely one of the better entries in the series.

Yea, when I started undergrad I ceased my gaming activities, and that was around the PS3's launch. I got mine a little over a year ago, so the catch up has been intense (along with building up my Vita library). I enjoyed JRPGs on the PS2 and have yet to play any this gen, so I want to give a few a try. This game seems like a good start. And thanks for the tips. I'll pick it up and likely get the other Tales games for PS3 as well (or maybe get the older games first and then move up to this one).

Thanks for the tip! I decided to get it. I feel the need for a JRPG fix (or fixes rather). I'll pick it up as soon as I'm done with Dragon's Crown.

Graces and Xillia are pretty different, but I would definitely start with Graces if you plan to play both.
