Forums - General - If you get a Gamefly free trial, can you cancel right after it's over?

Or do you have to continue paying at least for a month. Apparently, there is a 10-day free trial, and I'm really tempted to try it. But the site says you have to pay $22.95 thereafter.

 So does anyone know?

If not, then I'll just get the $8.95 for just one month, because I don't want to spend too much money. I can cancel the account any time I want, right?

I was given a 60-day free trial, but I had to give them a credit card number so I declined ...

Typically you can but they will in no way remind you that you're trial is going to end so you just have to make sure to cancel it and return the gamesbefore the trial ends. I would even shave off a few days to a week the free trial time just to be sure.

I had figured this much myself, but my concern is when they start counting those days. Because if part of those days go towards teh time it takes to ship a game, and then also ship it back, you've barely got 4 days to play teh two games you want to try.
And also, what if there's a lot of call for those games, do they use waiting lists, and if so, does that count against the trial period?

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

I'm not exactly sure how that all works, I would just make sure to cancel about a day before you roll over.

Not that GameFly is bad...I used it for a half year...but I used it with Brightspot.tv, where I could watch minute-long ads and get money towards my GameFly account by doing so. $6 a month for 1 game out at a time was not bad, not bad at all. Too bad it's gone.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
