I agree. The PS 3 has been tracking at 10% above the 360 in sales for the last month, with closer to 13% last week. It seems to be increasing the margin between the 360 and the PS3 week by week.

The 306 is less then 10% ahead in the race you presented, so I say they hit the same with (with the PS3 having more units over that mark in the week they achieve it).

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

I think you meant weekly basis, right? Since I don't think the PS3 outsells the 360 by 140k-210k every week!

first of all 30k in AUstralia, they were not sold, but bundled with TV, but still, +30k users. PS3 -30k.
VGchartzs counts bundled games, but don`t count bundled consoles? Strange.

Then France numbers were 563k(GFK) by the end of 2007, and they were edited to 544, while x360 were 589k and were edited to 602k.
