Wow thats awesome, this means the publisher det 70% from every sold game. This 35€ from every full price title thats better then the 27€ that they get from a 60€ retail game.

Don't forget tax. Every sale, digital or physical, is subject to sales tax. Here in the UK it's an astronomical 20% of the price of any item (with a few notable exceptions like fruit, milk and biscuits).


In the US if I order from a business that does not have establishment in my state there is 0% tax on it. For example New Egg is in California so any game I buy from them is tax free.

 

Otherwise through Amazon it is 6% here (0-12 is the range state to state, some state have no sales tax or VAT).
