You are willing to wait a whole year for one of the biggest games of the generation? Personally, i've waited long enough as it is and just want it now. You may be an early adopter, but most of us aren't.

GTA is not yearly or anything like Pokemon seemingly is. The last console GTA came out over 5 years ago, a long time and you are waiting for something that hasn't been confirmed yet. I would understand why you wait, had rockstar said anything about a next gen version. But your assumption is just hot air right now. A bit like the people who waited for Red Dead Redemption to come to PC or for Metal Gear Solid 4 to Xbox 360, they never actually happened. It may sound crazy but GTA V isn't 100% on next gen just because every other game is.

Nothing is confirmed but cmon.....this is a multiplat game that has a proven history of later versions announced and a staggered release schedule for different platforms. This ain't something like RD or MGS that sells several million lifetime, this is something that sells 10 million per version.

You can play it in September, but the "because it isn't announced it won't come" line just rings hollow to me. Its coming to PC and next gen, just a matter of time.

Should be fun, so many things to do.
Seems like the franchise is still shallow in its core though, imo.

Why would anyone doubt that it's coming to PC ?
Sure it will.

Next gen consoles are still questionable though. But certainly not unlikely.

anyone who cancels their preorder for that news would be cancelling it to get the other version.  aka Rockstar getting a full price sale regardless so I don't see why they wouldn't.

True but id imagine they would want the opening week sales of the 360/PS3 versions to be as impressive as possible. Or while you wait for the upgraded version you end up playing it from a friend and get your fix and thus cancel your preorder. Nah, just makes sense to be hush hush until at least 6 months after release.

I guess I could hurry up and sell my PS3 version if they announce it on the 18th or later.  It's coming out in a perfect window, will be huge on Christmas lists, and it's freaking GTA so I think sales will be fine either way.
