Thought we knew this. 360 has FF11 so no biggie.
Thought FF14 was a dud game though.

So that means the 360 audience has no value? Once again you're practicing poor logic. |
It's not that the platform doesn't have any value, but if it has enough value to offset the additional cost to release it on another platform.

Was a dud being the key word :)
They pretty much remade the game, its excellent now ( judging from what ive played in beta)

For ffxi, It took a year or two of negotiations between SE and MS to bypass the xbox live gold requirement, and to allow cross platform play.

So I could play with someone who was on PS2 on 360?

If there is still people that use PS2, then yes.

I think we knew this long time ago back to 2009 when FFXIV was just announced. Anyway, I am not fancy with MMO, so it is fine for me. Just bring FFXV ASAP, please...
Even if the game sold less than nothing it would have been a sign from MS to other publishers that they are welcome with their ideas for MMO's.
Beta on Ps3 was very nice but...
I don't think FFXIV will sell particularly well though.
Interesting that Elder Scrolls is coming to XBox One and other future MMOs.
I guess MS figures this one just isn't worth it after allowing the last FInal Fantasy MMO to be on their console.
It's just that simple.
