Edit: Since its Steel/Ghost and seems to be levitate that means this pokemon will only be weak to Fire (unless fairy type moves are super effective against ghost)


A new Pokemon has been revealed in a video at Japan Expo, a large Japanese cultural convention in France. It is named Hitotsuki in Japanese and Monorpale in French and is a Steel/Ghost-type Pokemon. Like a sword, it can unsheathe itself in battle. You can see its sheathed self on the top of the first image whereas in the rest of the images the sheath is hanging from its body. Its English name has not been revealed yet.

Quite sad that Ganon's sword is in Pokemon before his beast form :(

That's also true. I think Pokemon designs are getting alittle out there especially Steel types but I guess the mindset is since lots of steel types recently aren't organic it gives them room experiment with the designs. It doesn't look pokemonish to me.

The best Pokemon are very close to real animals. Unfortunately they ran out of animals.

Glad somebody else has the same thought as me. I was really confused when I first saw it because I thought I was looking at a Wind Waker screenshot.

they still are missing alot of animals like a komodo dragon (poison/dragon type maybe) or a dolphin (water/???). Anyway its always good to see pokemon made of objects sometimes! i mean first gen had Magnetmite+Muk lol

The Sheathe design is really terrible. It looks like a girl with a ponytail getting a facial.....look closely and see.
