Yes. However i did not understand most of the stuff the radio guy was saying....

Just felt like an argument with the radio guy purposefully antagonising the lady. I feel like even if i did understand what he was saying i still wouldnt find it funny.

Born and bred in South Africa. I'm of indian and cape coloured decent. My exposure to jamaican culture is limited apart from west indian cricket and in general rastafarian culture which i assiciate with Jamaica. I also love British humour though...but I wouldnt classify this as british humour??

Interesting! The UK has strong multiculturalism - albeit they might change that soon. But still, the multiculturalism is there, and much stronger than most countries so I'm not surprised. Yea, some people found it funny solely because of the accents and while they couldn’t decipher the radio guy's words, his delivery got them.

3. It hit too close to home in terms of how cruel people can be. Instead of making a humorous and/or awkward situation, the scenario was just plain mean and disrespectful.
4. Grew up in Suburban Northern California 20 minutes from the capitol. Spent the vast majority of my time with "my own kind," (grew up white, but mom's side is very culturally Mexican) but began to branch out entertainmentwise Junior Year of High School ("The IT Crowd, K-Pop, etc.) as well as made more diverse friends starting in college of many races and international cultures. (Yay college!)

It stopped being funny the moment a puppet started talking.

We have a strong rift between the supporters of the Church (which is being presented by the woman on the phone) and those who are against them. (which is being presented by the Radio Host). Now the entire event was about Jesus having sex but it also brings in to play the broader issue that the Church has.

They will forsake any opinion, proven or otherwise that goes against their teaching. Right now, here in the Philippines we cannot even pass a Health Law because it promotes condoms and contraceptives. It also has abortion as an option, if the life of the mother is in jeopardy, all the things that the Church is against.

This law is suppose to help curve the overpopulation we are having right now and reduce the rate of women dying from child birth but the only thing the so-called "Pro-Life" group sees are condoms, abortion and sex.

So now the health bill which is known as the RH Bill is stuck at the Supreme Court because the "Pro-Life" groups led by the Church is questioning its constitutional legality. It took 14 years for Congress to pass it and now its stuck again but in the Supreme Court.

We also do not have any Divorce law. So even if the woman is being mistreated by her husband or was forced into marriage (which still happens here in my country). She cannot divorce the man. The Church is very much against this because they feel that it will lead into those "Hollywood" type marriage (like what Kim Kardashian did). Even if the proposed law has its merits.

So yeah, my very Catholic country is having a Religious awakening right now and this is why I did not find the video funny. It strikes a cord, too deep for me to ignore.
