Doesn't affect me all. Never seen the point of importing a game from another continent, besides is waaaay too expensive in my country to import a game outside of the U.S.

I do wonder though, what's the number of people who actually import games?

Nintendo and PC gamer

Doesn't surprise me. Anyone expecting a change were delusional, Im afraid.

It is a shame, though.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

IF they have no plans to remove region lock, then I have no plans to buy their consoles anymore. I am a Chinese and a Chinese version 3ds has fucking few games! Only about 6-8 games. And many of them don’t even need translation! Mario, Mario kart…

How I see is that that it's nice to have the option, make it more of an open device.

The only game I've ever felt the need to import was the US version of SSBB. So, doesn't bother me at all. I don't know Japanese.

So annoying, c'mon Nintendo :/

Oh nooooooo

I really wanted to play all of the fantastic 3DS and Wii U games that aren't coming out in America... like... like... errrrrrr
