Yea, that's Bullshit. If they decide to implement that for 4K content, then those content-providers need to find somebody else to buy the crap (and I'm someone who buys 3D Blu-Rays).

Does it need to be always online ? or it only needs internet connection to watermark the content to the device ?
Edit: Apparentlythe device doesn't have BD drive. So it's like netflix ?

So this is just for downloaded stuff then?
Hmm, pie.
i would like to see what those xbone fans that defended MS's prior strategy have to say about this.

Depends on if I can share my movies with other "family" members or if I need to be constantly online or... whatever.

An industry that needs Xbox One Sony's 4K Player DRM is a failed industry.

you still own the blueray and can sell it. this is just an anti-piracy solution. not that i agree with it. but they arent restricting used sales.

Wait, how come ms fans criticize this when they kept saying that it's fine for xbone? Hm, double standards? No way. But surely Sony fans are the hypocrites, right? I personally still think it's bad no matter who does it.
