You time travel so wouldn't you be able to regen your grass through time traveling? That is essentially not playing for a week or whatever.

Just pull in all your hybrids and put them in your drawer or keep on your character. That way the hybrids will survive and then you can just purchase all the reg flowers or take from the island/tours.
