This game seems really time consuming and stressful.

Time consuming? Yes. Stressful? Only the opposite.

I was just about to say that.

Sonic: "You're too slow!".jpg

Too lazy to go find an image. :L

You broke the thread. Probably because you're so fast.

While that's true, it's actually because of your emoticon being quoted. Somehow, quoting someone's post with that emoticon in it screws up the thread.

Because you touch yourself

Nah, it's more likely because you're trying too hard to be funny. :L

That doesn't even make sense, but it shows defensiveness, so I'm guessing you do. @_@

Filthy

Like what you said made any more sense.

Oh dear, I didn't know I was talking to spurge2.0

Don't worry, you're not! You are talking to Einsam_Delphin. Nice to meet ya!

I didn't think they were they type to do this. =[

Hopefully they'll see the error in their ways and release a patch that removes the feature. Of course this is all wishful thinking especially as they have yet to release a patch fixing LM2's online, which is a legitimate gameplay hindering problem.

Patching the game would get rid of the troll aspect.

How is that any fun for Nintendo?

Plant a bunch of flowers on the dirt spots. Supposedly, flowers help grow back grass more quickly.  You thought grass dying was bad on New Leaf...  You should have seen City Folk when they first introduced it!

http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Grass_Deterioration

City Folk :

This feature was originally intended to create paths in frequently-traversed areas, which would add to the town’s own unique character. However, in many instances the feature has run amok, almost completely obliterating all the grass in an entire town, especially when players are chasing after insects such as Banded Dragonflies or Giant Petaltails.

New Leaf:

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, it is reported that grass deterioration not only happens more slowly, but the damaged grass regrows faster. Also, when a Public Works Project has been completed and built, the grass under it will deteriorate instantly.

Fertilizer will not help restore grass. However, flowers can aid the process of grass regrowth. Rain and snow will also help grass slowly regrow.

Placing patterns on the ground such as paths protects the grass underneath from deterioration. It will not regrow any already-damaged grass, however.

From what I've read online and from my own experiences with the game so far...if you RUN around, the grass becomes mud and dirt. If you walk or even walk fast (without holding the button to run) the grass stays as grass. Also, I've read that planting flowers and trees will slowly replenish grass around each plant. It's worked out that way for me so far. Good luck!

Thanks Seth n TK14, and NinPie for humurous comment! Unfortunately I just can't not run, and putting down pattern paths wouldn't help much at this point since the grass underneath it wont regrow. I'll just stick it out for now, then eventually when I go for a long time not playing the game, I'll come back to it and lay out pattern paths.

You time travel so wouldn't you be able to regen your grass through time traveling?  That is essentially not playing for a week or whatever.

Oh yeah, I could do that, but then the weeds and my flowers! Oh wait, that'd happen either way...

Just pull in all your hybrids and put them in your drawer or keep on your character.  That way the hybrids will survive and then you can just purchase all the reg flowers or take from the island/tours.

What are you talking about? None of these features are in Assassins Creed!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
