Now I get that you're being sarcastic. *sigh*.

But I am serious. I live in a place where nobody I know likes Metal Gear Solid. It's an actively despised series.

Really? Why doesn't Tirol like Snake?

Ice Climbers are also top tier though. Just so you know, lol. (actually ahead of Snake, they are generally thought to be the second best character.)

Meh. Sonic is more fitting?

Of course he is. And so is Mega Man.

Super Smash Bros. is all about legendary and cool characters, that's why Snake doesn't fit in. He's lower tier than the freakin' Ice Climbers.

Isn't Snake one of the best SSBB characters? He's broken almost as Meta Knight.

No, not really.  Snake is one of the better characters in the game, but he's not anywhere close to Metaknight.  Snake is good at a ranged combat, but he's ok at best in close range.  Moreover he's very vulnerable when he's in the air to the point where characters like ZSS, Marth, and MK can absolutely abuse him once he gets in the air.  He has limited approach options besides Snake dashing.

So in short, Snake is a lot more balanced than MK.  He has some great strengths (projectiles, weight, range, wide range of ) but he also has some pretty big weaknesses to balance that out.  He's good, but not broken good.

What's funny is that the quote refers to the Ice Climbers, insinuating that they suck, when they actually ARE broken good.  (Right behind MK, chain grab ftw!)

My statement refers to being legendary and cool. The Ice Climbers are among Nintendo's lamest creations. Snake is even lamer. Heck, even Mr. Gayman Watch is more likeable than Snake.

If that is what you meant, then you completely misused terminology.  When you mention "tiers" in a conversation about fighting games, it is generally accepted that you are talking about how viable the character is in tournament play (or in simpler terms, how good they are).  While Snake is in fact a lower tier than MK (sort of.  The three main tiers are broken into sub-tiers at the moment), both characters are considered "Top Tier".

I grew up playing Metal Gear on NES....but Snake was, at best 3rd banana on the Konami pecking order.  Bill from Contra or Simon Belmont where the front runners, and hell, I'ld probably put one of those jeeps from Jackal into the game before Snake.  Jeep would be pretty awesome, actually.

JEEP 4 SMASH!

Characters I want in:

Dillon: Dillon's Rolling Western is a pretty interesting game and new IPs need more love.

Shulk: Xenoblade was a great game and Shulk was a strong character.

Lucario: Best design character in brawl and still feel relavent.

Falco: Great memorable character who's in need of a new full developed move set.

Keldeo: Unqine and well design pokemon, so manybideas for a move set and final smash.

Daisy: Awesome tomboyish character which could lead to a fun move set with a hint of clever taunts

Rosalina: Magic move set, kind of similar to Zelda but, not a clone.

Klonoa: A underated character that could use Super Smash Bros.to make a come back like Pit.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Mario and Sonic rivalry, Nintendo and Sega, partnership, pretty much a 100% deal in my eyes. I'll be surprise if he wasn't in there.

Characters I wish were in:

Sly Cooper: Wasted on Playstation All-Star Battle Royale, as you do combat in his games, its clear that he would make a perfect Smash Bros. If only it was real :(

Characters I DON'T want in:

Krystal: She was never a Nintendo character to begin with and she's not really much of a popular character compare to other Starfox characters. Just because a character have tits doesn't make her a good character. I prefer Katt over Krystal.

....that's it I guess

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.
