Isn't the general issue of high taxes part of the protests there?

More the fact that they have very little to show for the taxes

(in truth, the government has been making progress, but more on the matter of raising up the dirt-poor of the country's Northeast, while the rising middle class only sees a delapitaded infrastructure and lavish olympic/world cup stadiums)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

When were the last elections? What happened in them regarding tax discussion?

When are the next elections? What is the discussion regarding taxes?

Next year. They NEVER discuss lowering the taxes, we have dozens of political parties and NONE would even bring that up.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

That is pretty steep. I guess agitating for change won't do much good as the numba of console gamers probably isn't that high in Brazil.

what? of course is high. Is not even bigger cause the higher taxes

Really. How many do you reckon? I assumed as a developing country that gamers were pretty rare.

Damn, it's actually cheaper to buy a gaming PC.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Interesting since their is a 80% tax on tobacco how much does a pack of cigarettes cost in Brazil (don't smoke myself just curious).

Well it looks like the Xbone in my country is the 3rd most expensive in the world. On the other hand, we have rather high salaries. My salary is slightly above average at best and the Xbone would cost me roughly 12-15% of a monthly income after taxes. (Not that I'm buying one though). What does an average brazilian earn?

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Wow, sorry to hear this =/

That's how it is man :/. This is our goverment's fault, these are really hard times for everyone. But I am sure we are all going to come trough this hard times

Sorry it's so expensive.  But as nothing is really black and white, it can lead to good things - i.e. Microsoft opened a manufacturing plant there for the 360. So it made jobs for people.

Hopefully decent paying jobs and people are happy there.  And Sony has had plant there for a while too.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!
