I used to think Chocobo ws pronounced coca-bo, and was very disappointed when I found out it was choke-oboe. I thought coca-bo sounded a lot better and made more sense.

Also the character from valkyrie profile named llewellyn. I thought the name was pronounced leh-le-weh-lin, but it's actually just like the southern US name Lou-ellen.

i never knew how to pronounce "Bowser" for the longest of time, i used to say it like Boo-w-sir, turns out it's actually pronounced BAW-ZER, XD.

the problem is, I found this out when I watched a Super Paper Mario review when I was planning to buy it, in 2008 :P and I'm 23, my history with Mario goes way back, I can't believe I was saying the main villan's name wrong for over a decade XD
