It's kinda sad that EAD Tokyo has to come bail out another Nintendo platform, that's why they can't take their time with a 3D Mario, because it has to be done by this fall, so they just opted to build off Mario 3D Land.

New Super Mario Bros. U should've been much more ambitious in scope and really satisfied Mario fans for at least a year+ and let Mario 3D World slide into 2014.

Zelda isn't coming till 2015 and quite honestly, I think the Zelda team is getting tired of making Zelda games, lol. Too much bloat in Skyward Sword.

Bayonetta 2 and X will be the big hardcore games for Wii U.

I actually really liked DKCR. Also Mario 3D Land isn't great as far as theme goes (Mario and co-op again?). Also SSB is pretty awesome. Also also Mario Kart is awesome looking. Also also also I don't care what Zelda looks like as long as the gameplay is as awesome as ever.

I know, I know, I should be more restrained/mature. The disappointment just stings so damn much; the Galaxy games were nigh perfect, I wanted to be wowed like that again. And I want to be wowed by Zelda U too, like I was by Twilight Princess and Ocarina, I just get the feeling more and more that it's not going to happen. After 3D World I don't even want to get my hopes up in case I just get let down again. Nintendo really seems to be out of touch with what my brand of gamer wants for since 2010. (Except for Skyward Sword, loved that one)

It just feels like they're not trying anymore. With Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Metroid Prime 3, there was clearly a lot of effort put in. These newer games feel lazy by comparison.


Not trying to be mean or anything, but you kinda set yourself up for dissapointment from the first place, Super Mario Galaxy was the highest rated game of the gen, it's sequel was bound for dissapointment. If they did however, make an epic 3D mario game, there was no way in hell that they could've finished if in 2013, and they need all the system sellers they can get right now, hopefully they'll pull a Galaxy Later

Pretty much this. I dont get how some people can get SO invested in games. IMHO I dont even know where they could go after Galaxy. 3Dland sold better than well. I wouldnt be surprised if it legs out and becomes at least the 2nd best selling 3d Mario title. Its already close to Galaxy 2. Which is the point, Wii U needs system sellers and as much as people love 3d Marios it doesnt usually push a bunch of consoles, 64 notwithstanding and possibly 3d land, which is what they are banking on. Hell even if it doenst do as good as they want, its not like the game is going to be that expensive. they could always do the "true" 3d Mario later. Or maybe they wont.

Sure the Vita is going to help your argument cause it had a rough start but its the definition of success now right

Don´t forget the PS2 was the best selling console of all time and still sold really good after the PS3 launched. The Wii stopped selling 2 years ago and the Wii U never began to. But initial argument was that if you would say the Wii U is doomed then it would be because of the sales and the HArdcore games. But I don´t think its doomed because you never bet against Nintendo

Did you read my post? And if you have read it, do you understand whit it meant? I mean I could rephrase it for you if you want. And btw. I am no Sony fan, I don´t give a fuck about Sony I am Playstation gamer not a fan
