Don't worry, I'm neither buying these games nor a Wii U. I'm a core gamer and I want to want a Wii U, but I just can't seriously consider buying it with the current price and lineup. The only games I'm really interested in are ZombiU, MK, X and Bayo 2 - not enough to make me send my cash Nintendo's way instead of getting a PS4. What I want from Nintendo is a Metroid Prime (a new part or at least Trilogy HD), a new HD Zelda TP-style (not cell-shaded!) and maybe one or two new core IPs. That would be enough to entice me into getting a Wii U.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I know, I know, I should be more restrained/mature. The disappointment just stings so damn much; the Galaxy games were nigh perfect, I wanted to be wowed like that again. And I want to be wowed by Zelda U too, like I was by Twilight Princess and Ocarina, I just get the feeling more and more that it's not going to happen. After 3D World I don't even want to get my hopes up in case I just get let down again. Nintendo really seems to be out of touch with what my brand of gamer wants for since 2010. (Except for Skyward Sword, loved that one)

It just feels like they're not trying anymore. With Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Metroid Prime 3, there was clearly a lot of effort put in. These newer games feel lazy by comparison.

I love you everyone is so quick to punish 3D World and every Game they showed at E3 Direct. 3D World. We saw 5 levels and everyone judges the game.

X - still ind evelopment (also don't understand how you can say that X looks lazy compared to xenoblade)

Mario Kart 8 - looks fantastic

Aonouma kinda confirming Zelda U will have an open world again...

Don't know how you feel but I'm excited for this year.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but you kinda set yourself up for dissapointment from the first place, Super Mario Galaxy was the highest rated game of the gen, it's sequel was bound for dissapointment. If they did however, make an epic 3D mario game, there was no way in hell that they could've finished if in 2013, and they need all the system sellers they can get right now, hopefully they'll pull a Galaxy Later

Don't know how you feel but I'm excited for this year.

I forgot about X. It looks absolutely amazing, definitely not lazy. I am afraid, however, that rumours about it being an MMO might turn out to be true. :(

Mario Kart looks awesome too, I agree, the anti-gravity is pretty cool.

Also, hypocrite that I am, I'm very pumped for Tropical Freeze, even though it seems to play it safe, since I loved DKCR so much.
