There's a huge difference between comparing halo and gears of war since 95% of those games consistst of running from room to room shooting things. The only difference is the perspective of the camera. Huge difference than comparing uncharted, which has platforming, puzzles, and exploration in addition to the shooting, to metal gear solid, which has rpg elements and mostly stealth, and actively discourages shooting. The genre debates are starting to really irritate me. |
I disagree with them about Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid 4, they are most definitely not shooters.
The Last of Us is a hard one though. Although not much time is spent shooting, it's the main gameplay mechanic (after shifting ladders of course).
