How was that offensive. Sometimes this is worse then the fucking stasi. I mean he even said you should wait. baning somebody for this is just wrong, and will keep new members away.

The problem isn't what HE/SHE said, it's what YOU are reading into it! 

There is NOTHING ban worthy in what DirtyP said, and the fact that a moderator banned someone for saying it is offensive.  I can live with someone being immature and feeling they were offended by nothing, but the moderators are supposed to rise above that.  They're supposed to be a moderating force within the community NOT complicit in its offenses.

And again, YOU are reading in to what is being said.  I never said you reported anything and I never accused you of doing so.  Did I?

Maybe you've havent been a member long enough. But i have and I know that DirtyP was stealth trolling, the MODS know it was a stealth troll which is why he/she was banned. Im not offended at all, i could care less. I was just commenting on why he/she was banned and if you dont like it take it up with the mod that banned him.

While I think the statement in question does inherently imply "all" as "PS fans" would be an all inclusive usage of that term.

If I said "VGcharters like corn" then I am saying "all VGcharters like corn" not "some" or "few" or "only those that like corn amongst the VGcharters like corn"
You can't go into a crowded room and say "hey you in the blue shirt" and not expect everyone wearing a blue shirt to turn around.

So tell me then if he was not referring to "all ps fans" what "ps fans" was he singling out? those that are interested in titan fall? wouldn't that be a bit redundant?

That being said I didn't find what was said offensive... it was a gross misconception at worst, but still nothing to be offended over... "OMG HOW DARE YOU IMPLY I MIGHT LIKE A GAME!"

I doubt he was banned because it was found offensive, but rather the generalization of a fan base

What ive seen (very little) of both Destiny and Titanfall, i have to admit that Destiny looks the more interesting.

Titanfall looks (could be wrong as i didnt see that much of it)... as a COD with Mechs. While Destiny feels/looks more like Fallout in space. While Destiny also feels like an MMO but with the ability to go off and do single player things, while as i said TF looks just like some battle maps.

Anyone know what the story is with Titanfall? i.e whats the aim of the game/scope of it.

It would be interesting if they did add some persistent world thing like MAG

Can you name an online only console shooter that was any good? I mean, guys can throw out games like MAG or SOCOM Confrontation as evidence, but did those games not sell all that great because they were online only, or did they not sell all that great because the games themselves were not all that great? How well do you think games as good as Battlefield or CoD would sell with no SP component? My guess would still be in the millions.

And LOL @ that Xbox list. Yikes. People talked as if MAG sold like trash, so he correctly reminded us that MAG outsold most other Sony games. No need to be so defensive :)

Only about half of the people finish the single player campaign in Call of Duty games. So they do sell 25 million a year on the strength of multiplayer. Yes this for all of those writing off the game because it is multiplayer only.

We already knew this. It's coming on Xbox one first. That much I know and I will get it day one.
