So Titanfall is either an overhyped game for the Xbox One or it's a much-desired Xbox One next gen exclusive that people hope is timed???

This is what happens when gamers think emotionally. :

Regardless of whether it's muliplatform or not, I'm psyched for it!  A mech game is a mech game.

Well then you are just awesome.  :)

and I'm not interested either way.  Mechs are cool but I just can't get into an online only game.

There's nothing wrong with that.  You don't HAVE to be interested in or champion ever game that's out there, no matter how hot and beloved it may be.  But what compels you to comment in a thread for a game that you're not interested in just to say that you're not interested in it?

Can you cite a specific person who first said one thing and is now saying the other?

Or are you simply pointing out that gamers don't all think the same way, which hardly seems like it's based in emotion, or a particularly bad thing.

No, I'm just saying that if you want to play Titanfall on a next gen console then buy an Xbox One and just be done with it.  This IS all about games, right?  To either belittle or repeatedly petition for (figuratively AND literally) a game because it's not coming to the console you've emotionally committed to  is a waste of time.  It's also a waste to pick apart comments like this looking for hope where there is none.  Trust me, as a 360 early adopter last gen, I wanted MGS4 bad and did all of this stupid stuff and it made NO difference because the game was not coming (for reasons that were likely financially tied to Sony) no matter what we wanted.

Ultimately I agree wholeheartedly with Adam Sessler, who stated repeatedly that at this point it's too early to pre-order/commit to either one of these consoles.  There's too much more that needs to come out before those decisions can be made non-emotionally (my cousin keeps flip flopping his pre-order).  But if a console exclusively is going to host a game that you desperately want, then you should just get that console and be done with it.  I bought an N64 ONLY to play OoT and to this day I do not regret it.

I think it is a mistake to buy a console based on one game, you have to account for all the games and weigh it out.  Unless of course you have plenty of money.

Like some people mentioned earlier- I think he meant "Titanfall 2" not "Titanfall too".

i think sometimes it might make a difference. Look how many games in the past few years got ported. Hell MGS4 seems to be one of the exceptions and not the rules. If people want to port beg and lobby, i say let them do it. Just cause it didnt work for one game, doesnt mean it wont work for another. ME personally, i agree with you. I never port beg, its pointless to me, not when there are so many other games i could be playing.

No ofense to anyone, but let Microsoft keep this stinker. Zampela is the imbecile that turned Call of Duty the piece of (bad software) it is today, PS4 is better without the next aberration these idiots want to give birth to. They also are the reason that there all the games America can make are 3rdPS or FPS, so, I want to keep away from anything these Bozos make.
In my humble opinion, of course.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Playstation fans want this game so bad. It is hilarious.
Wait for spring 2015 and you can play it... probably.

Who ever reported DirtyP2002 for this post honestly needs to grow up.

There is nothiing wrong with his observation nor with his conclusion.  He/she isn't flaming anyone nor are they trolling anyone.

What conclusion should one arrive at when on one hand you have Sony enthusiasts saying it's a crappy game when it's initially announced as an Xbox Exclusive, then turning around and be excited for it coming to the PS4?  It would seem highly logical under those circumstances that Sony enthusiasts want this game in that case.  It likewise, for some would be funny that such a contradiction exists where the game when it's an Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC exclusive isn't a great game, but when the possibility exists that it is coming to the PS4, then it's a great game.  How would one perceive that irony otherwise?  Seriously???

And yes, 2015 would likely be the release date as it doesn't appear that the Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC release date will be before 2014.  So what is so how is the educated, logical, assumption that 2015 would be a reasonable timeframe to be able to play the game on the PS4 upsetting to anyone???

Are we to the point where astute obervation and an educated, logical assumption is a bannable offense on this site?

When you have many, they can't all do upwards of 2-5 million a piece (and Sony isn't alone regarding 1st party titles that have done worse than 1.29mill - even though it's not very many). Then again, anyone reasonable wouldn't expect that.

To the notion of not wanting to shell out $60 for multiplayer, only, I agree.

You seem a little defensive.

He used MAG as an example of online only games with poor sales. But MAG sold better than most games Sony released on the PS3. Hence, more MAG games would have likely been a better investment than games like Twisted Metal, Starhawk, PS All Stars, LBP Karting, etc

Twisted Metal and Starhawk didn't do poorly because of quality.  They both were very good games and those who played them mostly liked them.  Sony's marketing (or lackthereof) failed them.  PSallstars was horribly handled.  It didn't have many PS icons (Crash, Spyro, Cloud, Big Boss, Old Dante, Kane, etc.) and there was no excuse for not having them because they had 3rd party characters and strange ones at that (new Dante, Big Daddy, Isaac, and Raiden).  Also why not have more than 1 game mode than the "supers only kill?"  It was called a Smash Bros. clone regardless they may as well have taken the best parts from Smash.  Make it percentages or something similar.  Make ring outs the kills or at least have a mode for it.  Just have one super for each guy that's unlocked by a stage weapon.  I wanted a Sony Smash Bros and didn't get it.  They had the tools and the developers were incompetent.  LBP Karting I have almost no opinion on.  Once I platinum LoU I'll try it out but I haven't heard good things.  Marketing was ok for Allstars (but the game sucked) and was once again not there for LBP Karting.
