The latest update to the SteamOS beta provides users with the option to dual-boot and create custom partitioning. Released two days ago, the update will allow those who wish to do so, install both Windows and SteamOS onto the system. Due to the beta phase, it’s wise to note that doing such a thing comes with risks: according to Valve, there has been “little testing on this, especially any kind of dual-boot setup.” In other words, if you are participating, don’t install it on any machine you “are not prepared to lose.” Via The Verge.

Longtime Warner Bros. executive Barry Meyer has joined Activision Blizzard’s board of directors and nominating and corporate governance committee, GamesIndustry reports. Meyer left his former position as Warner Bros. CEO in March 2013, having been with the entertainment company in senior roles since 1971. Activision Blizzard’s management is of particular interest because CEO Bobby Kotick and a few other major players recently purchased the majority of the publisher from its one-time parent company, Vivendi, granting it greater autonomy and independence.
Noticed some weird happenings in your Steam Library today? Some users have reported a strange error where the game labelled “Team Fortress 2″ is actually Left 4 Dead, and vice versa. It's lame enough that they have been given the rights to use the word "Candy", but if they are given the rights of the word "Saga" then the copyright thing will lose any kind of credibility.
