Players they "lose" to the next big thing aren't coming back anyway and they aren't leaving because of a few small issues. What they're doing is simple maintenance for the current very active playerbase. Their big efforts in esports are enough to keep people hooked and bring new people in. Though I wonder, if you haven't played Rocket League until now what the fuck are you doing with your life?

Plenty other things, like playing other games (X-COM 2 in my case this "free" weekend, and now I know I want it even more) or even going out.

But I don't play multiplayer games, so it's easier for me to skip this kind of games.

I knew you egomaniac would apply that "you" only to yourself instead of using the general sense.

But what do I expect from someone who doesn't play Rocket League.

Only a part of my response applies to me, but if you want I could put it this way: "Plenty other things, like playing other games or even going out". Happy now?

And let's not forget that you (in singular and plural) are a minority. Up to March, there were 29 million registered users of Rocket League with 10.5 million units sold, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. With over 125 million active users on Steam, 60 million for PS4 and 30 for the XOne... the percentage of gamers that play RL is rather small.

But of course, what can you expect from someone that may buy the game again for the Switch to play when he's not home?

Target leaks possible Bethesda Game of Thrones game
http://www.pcgamer.com/target-leaks-possible-bethesda-game-of-thrones-game/
Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire haven’t had a lot of luck when it comes to video game adaptations. Aside from excellent mods for the likes of Crusader Kings 2, most of them have been disappointing. Could Bethesda do better? A page on American retailer Target’s website suggests that they might be trying.

While Codemasters added VR to Dirt Rally, they don’t have plans to add support for any VR headsets to F1 2017, which launched on Friday. At least not at the moment because there are extra challenges in introducing VR to F1 2017 specifically.

Destiny 2 on the PC will use Blizzard's 'Global Play' region locking

With the Destiny 2 early access PC beta set to get underway today for those who've pre-ordered, Bungie has clarified how the game's region system will work. Because the game runs through Blizzard's Battle.net client instead of Steam, it will make use of the same Global Play system as other Blizzard games, such as Overwatch and Hearthstone: Players will have the ability to select which region they want to play in, but will only be able to see games and play with people who are also in that region.

Six years later, it's time for the Norks to get some payback: As reported by state-run media outlet Arirang-Meari (via NK News), a North Korean developer has released a new game called Hunting Yankee, a "3D amusement" in which you "shoot down American men with a sniper gun."

For fans of old Commandos and Desperados stealth real-time tactics games, this is a real treat...yeah, it's a bit expensive, even discounted, but well worth it if one is into this type of games.

I'm much more interested in Bethesda now with these rumors of a Game Of Thrones game ... but I can't say I'm excited about it.

Bethesda as they are currently are bad at making games, and they've been that way for a while. Ironically the only thing Bethesda has left going for them is their ability to make "stunning" and "beautiful" worlds that the player can be immersed in - with lore to back up their unique creations. This time though, it's just someone elses world....

Just feels like it would be missing that key ingredient of a Bethesda game, plus it would probably have to be very linear, even more so then their recent projects. I'm also not a very big fan of the TV series, haven't read the books. I think the TV series was pretty good for what it was though.

I'm well aware that only a tiny minority of the population is born with taste.

"Playing other games" or "going out" aren't arguments against RL. They're merely weaker alternatives.

I'll probably post it with todays news (if they bother making an article to correct their mistake), but it's fake news. Target made that listing, paired with another about a GoT game by Rockstar, just because in the case it was ever annouced, they would come up first in Google or other searchers.

Sorry to burst your hopes.

So you're telling us that you're only playing RL? You aren't playing other games because RL gives you all you need?

That's false, and it would also be very sad if true.
