Aside from excellent mods for the likes of Crusader Kings 2, most of them have been disappointing. Could Bethesda do better? A page on American retailer Target’s website suggests that they might be trying.

While Codemasters added VR to Dirt Rally, they don’t have plans to add support for any VR headsets to F1 2017, which launched on Friday. At least not at the moment because there are extra challenges in introducing VR to F1 2017 specifically.

 

Destiny 2 on the PC will use Blizzard's 'Global Play' region locking

With the Destiny 2 early access PC beta set to get underway today for those who've pre-ordered, Bungie has clarified how the game's region system will work. Because the game runs through Blizzard's Battle.net client instead of Steam, it will make use of the same Global Play system as other Blizzard games, such as Overwatch and Hearthstone: Players will have the ability to select which region they want to play in, but will only be able to see games and play with people who are also in that region.

 

Destiny 2 PC beta is struggling with launch bugs (Updated)

The Destiny 2 early access PC beta is now underway! Some of you might be experiencing some issues trying to launch the game, however, specifically in the form of the "Saxophone" errors. But take heart: Bungie is aware of the problem, and it's working on it.
Update: Bungie said on Twitter that the "Saxophone" issues have been resolved, and it's now looking into the "Chive" error code. We'll keep you posted.

 

Hunting Yankee is a North Korean game about shooting US soldiers

In 2011, THQ released Homefront, a first-person shooter that pits the citizens of America against invading North Korean soldiers. Six years later, it's time for the Norks to get some payback: As reported by state-run media outlet Arirang-Meari (via NK News), a North Korean developer has released a new game called Hunting Yankee, a "3D amusement" in which you "shoot down American men with a sniper gun."

The news comes via Ubisoft itself in a press release, which confirms the game will get an R18+ rating. They seem pretty proud of the news.
