Hell Let Loose reveal trailer promises 100-player WW2 battles
http://www.pcgamer.com/hell-let-loose-reveal-trailer-promises-100-player-ww2-battles/
Hell Let Loose promises a different sort of take on the resurgent Second World War shooter genre. It's a "platoon-based realistic multiplayer FPS," as developer Black Matter explained, "that draws on elements of the RTS genre," including capture sectors, resources, and off-map strikes. And even though the reveal trailer doesn't actually reveal very much, it looks awfully promising, too.

The neon imprints were spotted during a busy clip from the PvP footage just released by IGN, and you can see blue steps from the Arcstrider Hunter and purple from the Sentinel Titan.

Players can also no longer shoot underwater from submerged vehicles, and are no longer required to press 'F' when opening doors that've been wrecked by red zone and/or player-fired grenade explosions.

I actually posted a similar thing here about a month or so ago.

The irony is... Intel has glued multiple chips together before, it was especially common during the Core 2 era. They are just being salty.

We have to admit that all this situation with AMD getting back into competition and how Intel is reacting is very LOL worthy. They're so used to reign supreme that the mere idea of having to actually compete to sell their products is making them going nuts.

Even the rest of the industry, from motherboard makers to even the press, is so used to having to work mostly with just Intel that they're having a hard time working with Intel and AMD at the same time. Here's an article/opinion I read yesterday, after I managed to "fix" the browser that shows it: https://www.bit-tech.net/blogs/the-problems-with-amd-offering-competition/1/

Intel needs to lower it's prices more, they are trying to cling to their profit margins for as long as possible.

Itch.io updates refund policy following fraudulent game sale scam (Updated)
http://www.pcgamer.com/scammers-are-selling-fraudulent-games-on-itchio/
Itch.io is an indie-focused digital distribution platform, similar to Steam and GOG but much friendlier to developers in some significant ways.
Unfortunately, that approach leaves the door open to a certain amount of abuse, and as reported by Kotaku UK, people have taken advantage of the system by using the service to sell pirated games. One user told the site he'd purchased a copy of Rimworld after being alerted by the isthereanydeal.com website that it was on sale for 75 percent off. But it turned out to be a .RAR archive of the Rimworld folder from Steam. And you will no doubt be shocked to learn that subsequent efforts to contact the seller have gone nowhere.
Update: In the wake of this incident, Itch.io has updated its refund policy, which founder Leaf Corcoran said was "extremely out of date."

Sniper Elite 4: Deathstorm DLC concludes next week with 'Obliteration'
http://www.pcgamer.com/sniper-elite-4-deathstorm-dlc-concludes-next-week-with-obliteration/
Deathstorm – Obliteration is quite possibly the most perfectly distilled videogame title of all time. It's the sort of thing that demands to be written in all-caps, each and every time it's mentioned. (Alas, my editors demand otherwise, so that's that.) It is also the third and final chapter in the Sniper Elite 4 DLC campaign that debuted in March, which developer Rebellion announced today will be out on July 18. It will mark the conclusion of elite sniper Karl Fairburne's mission to foil the latest diabolical Nazi plot, and also adds new multiplayer characters, maps, and an "Authentic Plus" difficulty level.

http://www.pcgamer.com/empyre-lords-of-the-sea-gates-is-an-isometric-rpg-in-a-flooded-1910s-new-york/
Empyre: Lords of the Sea Gates, announced today by developer Coin Operated Games, is an isometric RPG that puts a "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" twist on an early 20th century "neo-Victorian" New York City. In this alt-history timeline, the oceans have risen and the city is flooded—but none of the water is any good for drinking. It thus falls to you, the hero, to embark upon a quest to find a fresh water supply, picking up companions and putting down foes along the way.

Roadhog changes reflect 'defensive not offensive capabilities,' says Overwatch lead designer
http://www.pcgamer.com/roadhog-changes-reflect-defensive-not-offensive-capabilities-says-overwatch-lead-designer/
Roadhog's Chain Hook ability has been the subject of much discussion among Overwatchers, following February's PTR patch which reduced its power.
When game director Jeff Kaplan suggested he's "not entirely satisfied with where [Roadhog] is at right now" last week, some players worried a buff was in store—however it seems tweaks to the 'one-man apocalypse' are tied to his defensive spectrum.
