Redeemer is a top-down action game about an elite spy and assassin named Vasily, who after a long and illustrious career manages to escape his corporate overlords just before they turn him into a cyborg murder-machine. He retreats to a secluded monastery and spends 20 years seeking peace, redemption, and an escape from his past.

Hell Let Loose promises a different sort of take on the resurgent Second World War shooter genre. It's a "platoon-based realistic multiplayer FPS," as developer Black Matter explained, "that draws on elements of the RTS genre," including capture sectors, resources, and off-map strikes. And even though the reveal trailer doesn't actually reveal very much, it looks awfully promising, too.

Thanks to the the keen eyes of Reddit user HypedUpNinja, we now know that players using roaming supers in Destiny 2’s PvP modes will leave glowing footprints behind them for the duration the ability is active. The neon imprints were spotted during a busy clip from the PvP footage just released by IGN, and you can see blue steps from the Arcstrider Hunter and purple from the Sentinel Titan.

If there's one thing a competitive FPS can't lack nowadays, it's loot boxes. Ubisoft announced back in February that Rainbow Six Siege would get its very own twist on the format – dubbed Alpha Packs – and they're rolling out as part of the game's 2.1.1 title update.

The latest weekly patch for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is live now on the game's test servers, and is due to launch in full tomorrow, July 13.
Focusing on bugs and UI tweaks for the most part, the Week 16 patch has finally fixed the irritating stutter suffered by the pre-fight care package plane. Players can also no longer shoot underwater from submerged vehicles, and are no longer required to press 'F' when opening doors that've been wrecked by red zone and/or player-fired grenade explosions.
