http://www.pcgamer.com/rocket-leagues-new-hoops-mode-and-nba-dlc-is-coming-next-week/
Rocket League, the game that blends colossal soccer with physics-defying automobiles, will soon give players the option to hit the court and shoot some hoops instead. Developer Psyonix announced today that the b-ball-inspired Hoops Mode will be added to the game, for free, on April 26.

JOB SIMULATOR STUDIO DROPS THE PRICE TO HELP "SHARE THE JOY OF VR"
http://www.pcgamer.com/job-simulator-studio-drops-the-price-to-help-share-the-joy-of-vr/
It's been all of two weeks since Job Simulator, a game which despite its wholly unappealing title is actually pretty good, debuted on Steam. That short span of time makes the recent announcement of a permanent, 25 percent price drop seem more than a little odd. The reason for the cut is a bit unusual too, but it's a good one: “This will allow even more people to experience the mind blowing moment when you realize your hands can truly work in VR—and then be used to throw a stapler at your boss.”

THE DIVISION HAS A NEW AND POTENTIALLY GAME BREAKING EXPLOIT
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-division-has-a-new-and-potentially-game-breaking-exploit/
The Division hasn't had a great run since its most recent patch. The new Falcon Lost Incursion introduced at least one major exploit, which turns the mission's high level item drip feed into a veritable hailstorm. Ubisoft Massive is working on a fix, and is currently figuring out how to punish those who have exploited the glitch.
THE LONG DARK UPDATE BRINGS CHALLENGE MODES AND CABIN FEVER
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-long-dark-update-brings-challenge-modes-and-cabin-fever/
The Long Dark has a great survival sandbox mode, but if you've been playing since 2014 then you might have grown tired of just surviving. Thankfully Hinterland has just rolled out a major patch introducing challenge modes, as well as a few updates to the traditional game. Concerning the latter, among the most interesting developments is cabin fever. Yes, now you can go stir crazy if you stay indoors for too long, which raises the stakes quite a bit.

THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE TRAILER INTRODUCES THE DARK BROTHERHOOD
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-elder-scrolls-online-trailer-introduces-the-dark-brotherhood/
That chap up there is Caius Naughtymurders, leader of The Elder Scrolls Online's Dark Brotherhood guild, and it's definitely his name because look at him. He wants your sneaky Khajit/magical Argonian/fighty human to do some murders for him, murders that will involve sneaking up on people and introducing daggers to their formerly rupture-free throats. (There will hopefully be other, more devious ways to assassinate people, as in the previous Elder Scrolls games, but the trailer doesn't show any such ways). Speaking of which, here's a new trailer offering a 'first look' at TESO's upcoming Dark Brotherhood DLC.

MARCH OF THE LIVING IS FTL BUT WITH ZOMBIES, OUT NOW
http://www.pcgamer.com/march-of-the-living-is-ftl-but-with-zombies-out-now/
Zombies zombies zombies. For years people have moaned that zombie media has reached saturation point, but I'm not sure that will ever be true. One zombie game dies, and another inevitably rises to take its place. March of the Living is the latest, and while it sounds like a particularly grim March of the Penguins sequel, it's actually an FTL-inspired roguelite where you guide a group of survivors to safety their horrible deaths. It's out now, and you can grab it from Steam here.

ORI AND THE BLIND FOREST: DEFINITIVE EDITION NOW RELEASING APRIL 27
http://www.pcgamer.com/ori-and-the-blind-forest-definitive-edition-now-releasing-april-27/
Ori and the Blind Forest is a sumptuous Metroidvania about a cute sprite that dies repeatedly in tough platforming sequences, and Tyler Wilde was rather fond of it when he reviewed the original version a year ago. It's since been updated in a Definitive Edition that released on Xbox One last month, but last-minute delays pushed the PC version back to an unspecified date.
SEVEN, THE THIEF-INSPIRED ISOMETRIC RPG, GETS FIRST TRAILER
http://www.pcgamer.com/seven-the-thief-inspired-isometric-rpg-gets-first-trailer/
You had me at 'Thief-inspired', isometric RPG Seven, but 'ex-Witcher 3 devs' pretty much seals the deal. As Phil explained last year, Seven is a game set in a "non-linear sandbox world", where you'll run and jump and climb and sneak and all the other things mysterious travellers sometimes get up to in post-apocalyptic worlds. Sorry, in "beyond post-apocalyptic" worlds, which I guess is shorthand for 'has fantasy elements too'.

BUST PERPS AND EAT DONUTS IN NON-LINEAR ADVENTURE BEAT COP
http://www.pcgamer.com/bust-perps-and-eat-donuts-in-non-linear-adventure-beat-cop/
Beat Cop channels the spirit of '80s police dramas to tell the story of, well, a beat cop patrolling the crime-infested streets of New York. The game will feature a non-linear story with multiple endings, and that's all well and good, but really all you need to do is watch the following announcement trailer.
