Bloodborne PC Remaster Mod V1.13 Released
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/bloodborne-pc-remaster-mod-v1-13-released/
Modder ‘fromsoftserve’ has released version 1.13 of his amazing PC remaster mod for Bloodborne. This is easily one of the best mods that PC gamers can use to improve the game’s graphics. So, let’s dive in.
Version 1.13 brings big updates to player lighting and shiny surfaces across all recently updated maps. It also removes more baked shadows and fixes light leaks. Yahar’gul gets a major update, too, with many baked shadows removed.
You can go ahead and download the latest version of this PC remaster mod from here (Nexus Mods). At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video highlights some of its key features.

Final Fantasy Resonance Got an HD Sprite Remaster Mod
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/final-fantasy-resonance-got-an-hd-sprite-remaster-mod/
Final Fantasy fans, here is something for you today. Final Fantasy Resonance is a new 2D-HD FINAL FANTASY game that has just come out on PC. And modder ‘PompokoTH’ has released a mod that aims to overhaul every pixel-art sprite in the game.
FFRS HD Sprite Remaster covers heroes, Visions, NPCs, monsters, and icons. Each sprite is carefully redrawn and lined up with the original frames. This keeps the same poses, movements, and animations as the base game.
The mod includes 849 sprite sheets and over 20,000 animation frames. It also gives Tina (Terra) her green hair from FINAL FANTASY VI. The latest update, v1.0.1, fixes many sprites. It also fixes issues with faces, shadows, and battle animations.
There are three versions to choose from. The full 4x version offers the highest level of detail. The 2x version takes up less space and includes the latest fixes. The Monster Pack only updates monsters and their icons, leaving all other sprites as they are.

New Mod Adds DLSS 4.5 Multi-Frame Gen Support to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/new-mod-adds-dlss-4-5-multi-frame-gen-support-to-kingdom-come-deliverance-2/
It’s no secret that I was very let down when Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 came out with support for NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution but no Frame Gen. I don’t know why the devs left it out. Yes, the game runs very well on PC. Still, having Frame Gen as an option would have been nice. And now, more than a year later, a modder has added support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Gen with MFG.
Going into more detail, this mod adds native DLSS Frame Generation to the game. It also updates the DLSS version and adds NVIDIA Reflex support at the engine level. As said, there is also support for Multi-Frame Gen. Moreover, the mod handles the HUD and HDR the right way.
It’s also worth noting that NVIDIA users can change supported presets without restarting the game. The chosen preset stays the same when you switch DLSS quality modes. If you set the override to Off, the game will use its own CNN or Transformer choice again..
What’s really cool here is that we get an in-game menu for this DLSS Frame Gen Mod. Players can go to the game’s graphics settings and adjust all of the above settings. This is really cool and makes the mod feel like an official implementation.
Overall, this is a must-have mod for all NVIDIA RTX users. So, if you’re still playing KCD2, I highly recommend downloading and using this mod. You can get it from here (Nexus Mods).

A Modder Is Turning Dino Crisis 2 Into a Full 3D Third-Person Game
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/a-modder-is-turning-dino-crisis-2-into-a-full-3d-third-person-game/
Now here is something truly amazing. A modder is currently working on a project that will turn Dino Crisis 2 into a full 3D third-person game. And although this mod is in a very early development phase, we have its first WIP gameplay video.
For those who did not know, Dino Crisis 2 did not use full 3D worlds like the first game. Instead, it used pre-rendered backgrounds, much like the classic Resident Evil games. This had both good and bad sides.
The good thing about this approach was that Dino Crisis 2 looked better than the first game when it came out. The bad thing is that it makes the game much harder to turn into a third-person title. That’s why we already have a third-person mod for the first Dino Crisis, but not for the second game. So, modder ‘RAW’ is currently working on a Dino Crisis 2 recomp with an over-the-shoulder camera, and he is rebuilding the locations in 3D.
As said, this project is in a very early development phase. Nevertheless, it appears to have a lot of potential. And, since this will be a PC recomp of the DC2 game, it will have support for the mouse and keyboard.
All in all, I’m really excited about this as it will allow us to experience Dino Crisis 2 in a completely different way.

Destiny 2 unvaulting update: It sure sounds like the original Destiny is finally coming to PC
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/destiny-2-unvaulting-update-it-sure-sounds-like-the-original-destiny-is-finally-coming-to-pc/
Bungie shocked the world (or at least, it shocked the world's Destiny fans) when it un-canceled Destiny 2 in September, saying the game "is foundational to Bungie’s future" and promising to restore vaulted content and "return Destiny to its original promise." In a community update shared today, the studio revealed more about that process, and one standout point is that it sure sounds like the original Destiny is finally coming to PC.

Modern Warfare 4's newest map is actually older than the Gen Z & Alpha teens who will play it
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/call-of-duty/modern-warfare-4s-newest-map-is-actually-older-than-the-gen-z-and-alpha-teens-who-will-play-it/
After 23 mainline games, there are far more Call of Duty maps than anyone can reasonably remember. That's why I'm impressed it took just one screenshot for several fans (with back pain, presumably) to clock that an upcoming Modern Warfare 4 map is actually a remake of a map that's over 20 years old.
Backstab, the new 6v6 map arriving on November 6, is a dead ringer for Burgundy, first seen in Call of Duty 2 way back in 2005. That means Backstab is older than the teenagers currently playing Call of Duty—do with that information what you will.

OCE players are stuck in perpetual night on WoW: Forever, but its devs are considering a fix
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/world-of-warcraft/oce-players-are-stuck-in-perpetual-night-on-wow-forever-but-its-devs-are-considering-a-fix/
World of Warcraft: Forever is "realmless", which has a couple of advantages for oceanic (OCE) players—who so often get the short end of the stick when it comes to MMORPGs. Blizzard has servers in Australia, so OCE players can enjoy not having terrible ping, but due to the smaller playerbase they share a lot of overlap with the North American server architecture.
Which produces a unique problem: As it stands, OCE players are stuck in perpetual night. See, Forever has a 24 hour day/night cycle, so if you play during the evening and your timezone's matched to the server, the sun will set in Azeroth roughly at the time it would outside your window. But since OCE players are very much not local to North America… the curse of endless night persists.

Real-world disaster footage in Modern Warfare 4 opening cinematic will be removed following complaints from victims' families
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/real-world-disaster-footage-in-modern-warfare-4-opening-cinematic-will-be-removed-following-complaints-from-victims-families/
A Korea Herald report says the opening cinematic of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be edited to remove video clips of a real-world disaster in South Korea that left 160 people dead.
The Seoul Halloween crowd crush occurred in October 2022 during Halloween celebrations in the city's Itaewon neighborhood, when a crowd surge in the narrow streets and alleys resulted in 160 deaths and left nearly 200 more injured. The opening cinematic of Modern Warfare 4 uses footage from that disaster to portray the immediate aftermath of a fictional North Korean invasion of South Korea, the basis of the game's story.

So I went ahead and sold my 4090 for about $4700 which I bought for around $2500 originally. For me, it seemed like the right time to sell it if my predictions are correct. If not... it will be a solid "well shit".

And in turn while I wait for a 6090 to release in 2028, in a surprising twist of events, I bought a Radeon RX 9070 GPU after like 15+ years of going strictly green. Specifically the Sapphire 9070 Nitro+. The reason being is that a 5070 Ti costs around $2000 and 9070 XT costs around $1400 while the 9070 costs around $1000. So for me, getting a 9070 XT or a 5070 Ti doesn't make much sense for an temporary GPU with these prices. Plus from what I can tell, the 9070s price increased the least so if the Ai bubble does burst eventually, in theory, it should be the least affected.

Now the main reason I went Radeon outside of the gpu prices is really because of all the recent news from AMD. They fixed a lot of the roadblocks such as frame pacing issues with FG, adding Ai based upscaling to FSR and the modding compatibility has been doing wonders. So I figure it's time to see how Radeon experience really is instead of just hearing about the goods and bads from news outlets and forum posts.

If I am happy with it, maybe I'll go red team if they come up with a worthy 6090/6080 competitor. But if I am not... I can always switch back for a price premium.
