So I went ahead and sold my 4090 for about $4700 which I bought for around $2500 originally. For me, it seemed like the right time to sell it if my predictions are correct. If not... it will be a solid "well shit".

And in turn while I wait for a 6090 to release in 2028, in a surprising twist of events, I bought a Radeon RX 9070 GPU after like 15+ years of going strictly green. Specifically the Sapphire 9070 Nitro+. The reason being is that a 5070 Ti costs around $2000 and 9070 XT costs around $1400 while the 9070 costs around $1000. So for me, getting a 9070 XT or a 5070 Ti doesn't make much sense for an temporary GPU with these prices. Plus from what I can tell, the 9070s price increased the least so if the Ai bubble does burst eventually, in theory, it should be the least affected.

Now the main reason I went Radeon outside of the gpu prices is really because of all the recent news from AMD. They fixed a lot of the roadblocks such as frame pacing issues with FG, adding Ai based upscaling to FSR and the modding compatibility has been doing wonders. So I figure it's time to see how Radeon experience really is instead of just hearing about the goods and bads from news outlets and forum posts.

If I am happy with it, maybe I'll go red team if they come up with a worthy 6090/6080 competitor. But if I am not... I can always switch back for a price premium.
