And totally unrealistic that the Linux share (and MacOS share) more than double within 1 or 2 months. It's bad data again. |
How much did Linux had before the Chinese New year push last month? Because I can remember Linux went down a lot, but I can't quite remember how much they had beforehand.
Other than that, the rest of the data looks correct to me though, apart of all the weird Windows versions they added:
All the other seem to be more or less in line what they were before the numbers got distorted, so who knows, maybe the Linux data isn't wrong?

I find it fascinating how much Linux is gaining lately among gamers. 5%+ seem too high still, that's true, but there's no denying that Linux is rising very fast. With that trajectory I actually believe that 4% could be too low and it could be closer to 4.5%.
And considering that the SteamOS part has been dropping pretty much the whole time, it means that Linux finally arrived at the point that gamers increasingly are choosing Linux over Windows on desktop PCs

Rance series developer AliceSoft announced on March 31 that its official digital store will be closing due to the download platform A-Cute, which sold games on its behalf, ending services.
Earlier that day, A-Cute announced that it would be suspending payment processing starting April 30, 2026, and fully terminating services as of March 31, 2027. This means that users of the official AliceSoft digital store will no longer be able to purchase games from the end of April. More importantly, those who have already purchased games from the store will not be able to re-download them to their PCs following the final closure in 2027.
The list of stores affected according to A-Cute:
