In case the fact that Nvidia didnt' send review drivers for the launch of the 5060 wasn't already bad enough, it turns out that some outlets have been given access to them to make a preview under Nvidia's conditions.

What conditions? They've chosen the 5 games used, which all support DLSS4 Multiframe, and the 2 GPUs for the comparion, the 2060 Super and the 3060.

Wow. The confidence they're showing with this card is zero and the depths they can go to hide it are bottomless.

*Edit* I forgot to add that the article has the links to 5 previews.

Yeah, I have same pop-up from pro.vgchartz.com as well.

Yeah, I just read it at pcgh.de. They didn't even got it offered, probably because NVidia knows fully well that they wouldn't accept these shitty terms.

Bolded: Not for me at least.

Thanks for your reply. It's not just me which, well, at least it's something.

It's an awful move that will damage Nvidia's credibility... for the few of us that follow the news and will remember it.

So you're safe of the pup-up. That means it doesn't happen to all, and that makes it more strange.

Well, we'll see what happens next.

We should 100% shame Nvidia and everyone that acceps this. Shame on Nvidia! Anyway, that's all the shaming I think I can realistically do, since I don't think I have enough of an audience for this anywhere.

No, I don't have such a problem. Sounds like the site is probably messed up somehow, but maybe not for everyone. My impression is that the site is basically kept together by duct tape anyway, so no wonder if there's some quirks from time to time.

If I had a megaphone, I would lend it to you to help you spread the shaming. But alas, I don't have one.

At least the article at Tom's Guide (one of the two in English, so I can read it) doesn't hide that the preview is limited by Nvidia. I don't know if the others are this honest.

As for the site. There was a pro version of it years ago that had more sales info for those that wanted to pay to gat access to it, but I don't know if it's still around somehow. In any case, I agree with yuu that the site has a lot of troubles and seems to be in its last legs.

I just posted a thread about this actually so I guess it's only happening to some people for whatever reason.

That's good to know! And we already have an answer, making it better.

Thanks for making the thread.

Could have to do with region or browser/OS settings?

I've tried it with Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Vivaldi so it seems to happen on all browsers. Maybe it's related to the former or latter though.

As expected, reputable reviewers hate it and are calling out NVidia for those shady tactics. And while they're at it, tells about the other dirt that NVidia did to them over the years:

Gamer's Nexus:

Hardware Unboxed:

Paul's Hardware:

Edit: Der 8auer with GN:

And Linus made a slightly more tame one a couple days ago, which is more about outlets not getting review samples (he possibly didn't know yet that some got highly monitored preview samples):

So yeah, looks like NVidia has gone the deep end now...
