The latest live action series set in a galaxy far, far away, The Book of Boba Fett, has introduced us to some cool new Star Wars characters, including Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand and new-wookiee-in-town Krrsantan, an arm-ripping fiend who towers over everybody else.
Now you can play as both of them in Fortnite thanks to yet another crossover between Disney and the battle royale game. Boba Fett himself previously joined Fortnite earlier last month, and he's also back in the item shop so you can fill out your own Book of Boba.

Apparently unphased by the backlash to recent NFT project announcements, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds studio Krafton has announced that it is getting into the NFT game. The company has signed a deal with Naver Z, the operator of the metaverse platform Zepeto, "to develop a new Web 3.0 and non-fungible token (NFT) project aimed at building an NFT metaverse platform."
There's no indication that Krafton's NFT project will be tied to PUBG directly—instead, the company will use the experience it's earned developing and running PUBG to create a "user-generation content (UGC) creation tool," as well as a virtual world built in the Unreal Engine. Naver Z will "manage the metaverse service," according to the statement, and handle community and social services.
Elden Ring's Prisoner class is the weirdest one of the bunch (so far)

In November 2021, FromSoftware introduced us to five Elden Ring character classes: The Warrior, Enchanted Knight, Prophet, Champion, and Bloody Wolf. They were a motley crew, especially the guy with the bad haircut and the wagon wheel around his neck, but none of them come close to the all-out strangeness (and, frankly, creepiness) of the Prisoner. It’s a newly-revealed class rocking peasant pyjamas and what looks to be the most supremely uncomfortable (and impractical) piece of cast iron headgear imaginable.

Ahead of the Wild Update arriving sometime in 2022, Minecraft Bedrock is testing out those fun new frog mobs that will be joining officially in version 1.19. The new version of Minecraft for Windows includes frogs, their tiny tadpole babies, and several of their new features to test out.

Techland has updated its zomb-stomping romp, Dying Light 2, with various fixes, but the one that matters most to me is the DLSS fixes. When we were carrying out our initial performance testing, checking out the best settings for Dying Light 2, we found that the original Nvidia DLSS experience was strangely muddy, and kinda reminiscent of the first-gen implementation of the AI-powered, game-prettifying feature.

In a world rife with uncertainty, one thing remains comfortingly constant: games made by indie studio Inkle, which always offer lovely little slices of storytelling and adventure to escape into. The studio behind Sorcery!, Heaven's Vault and Overboard! has now announced A Highland Song—a side-scrolling slice of serenity "with rhythm and survival elements."
We can forget about Ind, Nippon and Khuresh for Total War: Warhammer 3

With the final chapter in the Total War: Warhammer trilogy launching exactly a week from now, we should be giddily looking forward to what's in store: Four factions of Chaos Gods bashing at the gates of mortal lands in the previously unexplored realms of Kislev and Cathay. Never before has a Warhammer game spoiled us with such a glut of gorgeous new content.
But just as the previous Total War: Warhammer games introduced new and unexpected factions as DLC, we can't help but wonder what DLC factions await this time round. According to principal writer Andy Hall, it's not looking likely to be Ind, Khuresh or Nippon.
