So let me get this straight. You're annoyed that people here don't like anything, but then you're also annoyed that people had issues with people disliking something? |
Who are you?
Wouldn't expect much from yourself. After trolling my sign up in Top 50 games. Here you enter a conversation which is not your own.

It's so annoying how dumb the company is as they could be one of the best companies out there. Instead buying their games on PC feels line a mine field, some are ported pretty well while others are facepalm worthy. |
I can't even...

£70 for this, and the UI lol.
AAA company can't even get the UI to adhere to other gamepad UI, what a world lmao.
I'm seeing all sorts of idiots cropping up on DF's twitter post for the PC port going "PC problems", "glad I got a PS5", and I'm like
It's not even a fucking PC issue, it's the fact that SE just don't give two shits about how they port a game to PC. They just wanna charge a ton and do less. I was gonna buy Star Ocean 4 back in 2017, but oh no, it doesn't play nice past 60fps and doesn't play nice with Gsync either. This is why I've stopped bothering with SE, they just can't do shit unless Nixxies does the work for them, but now they can't, because Sony has Nixxes now.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Yea when SE does something stupid, they really goof up. I do still like many of their games like Guardians of the Galaxy and I did download FFVIIR on PC and once you install a few mods, the experience is pretty good, especially at 120 fps mode. But it's like, how many years is it gonna take for SE to take the PC platform seriously. Like this isn't a matter of the PC platform not being a success. They have had plenty of games where PC platform has sold very well. Heck I wouldn't doubt if PC is their largest userbase on FFXIV considering how popular MMOs are on PC. Yet they continue to give the PC version a middle finger from time to time which is very annoying.

Could be language barrier. You couldn't understand me in sign up thread too. Can't help you with that.
One thing I will say is that this year in general hasn't given us too many things to like thanks to the delays and nonsense from companies.
The most memorable games I played this year are Guardians of the Galaxy, Forza Horizon 5, Ratchet and Clank, Genshin Impact and RE Village which isn't a lot to go on. Now obviously there's a lot more games that have come out but either they didn't interest me or I played them but weren't memorable enough. You combine that with the hardware state of PC in general with shortages like no tomorrow, it's hard to keep a positive vibe going.
With that being said... Next year we do have quite a lot of big name releases coming our way regardless of platform so hopefully, next year will be more fap worthy.

I think the only way I would ever touch it, is via the booty bay, but I just cba looking for it and getting all that set up (I haven't yarr'd a game in just over a decade now, Steam/GoG have just been that convenient for me).
I know there's Guardians, but the initial trailer got my attention, but then the gameplay kinda put me off. I thought it was gonna be more of you playing StarLord, instead of the weird Japanese-style party system.
Valheim sold a crazy amount this year, probably more than whatever VII R is gonna sell on PC, but I just think SE are stubborn as hell and some greed to boot, so who knows how long it will be for them to take PC more seriously. I know we had that mini documentary for when they released XV Windows edition, showing us how they made it, but that's just marketing PR like how Ubisoft does their mini PC port advertisements (I honestly just see that as more of a fake "we love you guys" kind of spin, and I know that's jaded of me, but the results really do speak for themselves).
I do think SE is more loyal to Sony though. Remember when they had no choice but to go to Xbox after PS3 started out badly, then basically did waaay more deals with Sony by the late PS3 gen, throughout the last gen?.

Yea pretty much. I'll probably buy it on steam when it's on sale at a discount.
Yea you don't really control the rest. You can tell them to use abilities during battles and interact with the world like giving you path ways as well as talk to them but otherwise, you can't directly control them. The games main strength is it's visual art direction, story and character interaction. The gameplay is good enough but nothing amazing.
Yea SE and Sony still have a strong partnership and tbh, while I don't like exclusive games, I did buy a ps5. The thing that urks me is when SE or any other company decides to port the game to PC and then does a bad job. Hell even MS does a bad job *Looks at all the performance issues from Halo* which is very annoying. Like yes, me having a top of the line PC allows me to overcome a lot of the issues just by brute force but you really shouldn't need a PC like mine let alone various other issues.
