Borderlands 3 gets partial crossplay, but refuses to play by Sony's rules

Randy Pitchford, the president and CEO of Borderlands developer Gearbox Software, has announced an upcoming patch will introduce crossplay support "across all platforms." Except, well, it won't be across all platforms.

Hearthstone's 'The Wailing Caverns' mini-set announced, arrives next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/hearthstones-the-wailing-caverns-mini-set-announced-arrives-next-week/
Initial concerns that adding mini-sets between Hearthstone's thrice-annual big card expansions would further inflate the game's already substantial cost to keep up with have so far proved unfounded. That's because Blizzard surprised players by allowing them to buy all the cards for in-game gold or a fixed price, with no random pack opening required.
So I would expect plenty of interest around the second iteration of the mini-set format, which has just been revealed by Blizzard. The Wailing Caverns is a 66-card set coming next Thursday that will include four Legendary cards, one Epic (x2), 14 Rares (x2), and 16 common cards.

Anything is possible: Fortnite teases a Mistborn crossover
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/fortnite-mistborn-crossover/
Marvel cinematic universe? Nah. Hip-hop icon? Get out of here. A series of fantasy books I used to sell at Barnes & Noble? I guess so? Burn your bingo cards, because the latest Fortnite crossover appears to be based on the Mistborn novels by Brandon Sanderson.

The free Chivalry 2 open beta has started
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/chivalry-2-open-beta/
I'll get to the point: There's a Chivalry 2 open beta, it's free, and it's live now. You can download it from the Epic Games Store: Just find the Chivalry 2 page in the client, scroll down a bit, and then add the beta to your library. You'll have to "check out" as if you're buying a game, but it's free.

Here's 14 minutes of Horizon Forbidden West, which is probably coming to PC someday
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/heres-14-minutes-of-horizon-forbidden-west-which-is-probably-coming-to-pc-someday/
Sony debuted 14 minutes of Horizon Forbidden West gameplay in its State of Play presentation today, which you can watch above.
Forbidden West has not been announced for PC, but we have good reason to believe it'll eventually land on our favorite platform. Horizon: Zero Dawn was a former PlayStation exclusive that hit PC three years after its console debut, and performed admirably.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 LHR and RTX 3080 Ti with new crytomining limiter have been tested

https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-lhr-and-rtx-3080-ti-with-new-crytomining-limiter-have-been-tested

3060 = 20 MH/s
3080 Ti = 58 MH/s

Honestly even with these mining "limiters," if ETH wasn't moving on to a proof of stake model, I'd still be a happy camper with 58 MH/s thats also really good at playing games. For reference, a 3080 has around 95 MH/s.

I'm currently playing the "Fate of Atlantis" expansion of AC Odyssey... but the title is triggering me so hard that my next game will be "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" on my new PC.

An almost 30 years old game which can run on a toaster.

Yea pretty much. I still play starcraft 2 quite a lot and that thing can run on a potato. Getting 300 frames is quite fap worthy tho!

Intel Xe-HPG DG2 Graphics Card PCB Leaks Out – 4096 Cores, 16 GB VRAM, Gaming Performance Close To NVIDIA RTX 3080

https://wccftech.com/intel-xe-hpg-dg2-graphics-card-pcb-leak-4096-cores-16-gb-vram-gaming-performance-close-to-rtx-3080/

Now this is coming from MLID and his track record so far is 50 50. He was on point with RDNA 2 but was way off with Ampere. So take it with a grain of salt. It rumoured to be price around $500 but it's rumored to release in Q1 2022. Now if that's true, then that's quite a missed opportunity as RDNA 3 is rumored to release around then as well and the current gen GPUs should all be in stock by then.

Intel quietly launches 11th Gen Core 10nm Tiger Lake desktop CPUs including Core i9-11900KB?

https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-quietly-launches-11th-gen-core-10nm-tiger-lake-desktop-cpus-including-core-i9-11900kb

Well, guess Tiger Lake is officially Intel's first 10nm Desktop CPU. I'll be interested to see how it performs with proper desktop cooling as the boost numbers are still very high for the top end parts. Now these aren't going to be socket-able as far as I can tell as they are soldered in like the mobile chips, just in the desktop form factor.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If Intel manages to launch a card that's on the same ballpark as a 3080 on its first try, I'll be very, very impressed.
