Yea... There are not a lot of PC gamers on the site. And only a small subset of them are interested in a thread like this, and then even fewer bother actually posting regularly.

On Saturday night in Korea, the StarCraft Proleague season came to an end with an all-time classic matchup. Not between individual players, but between two of the biggest names in Korean eSports: SK Telecom and KT Rolster. It was yet another duel between the McLaren and Ferrari of Korean eSports, a battle between the two teams with the proudest histories and most famous stars.
It was the kind of battle that Proleague fans live for, and an ideal ending to what’s turned out to be a terrific season. What’s most remarkable about this finale, however, is that it happened at all. Because just over a year ago, it was an open question as to whether Proleague actually had a future.
Paradox is at Gamescom this week, but it won’t be showing the gameplay reveal trailer for Hearts of Iron IV. Given that it’s a historical strategy game covering World War 2, it’s hard to avoid Nazi iconography or imagery, and they’re not too keen on that in Cologne, as that sort of stuff is banned in Germany.
So you’ll just have to be content, watching it on a monitor instead of on a slightly larger screen in Cologne.
Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios have released a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X in which Ed Boon introduces us to Kano. As with all fighters, Kano has three different fighting styles which are: Cutthroat, Cybernetic and Commando. Enjoy! Continue reading

With access to Arena Commander now open to all backers, Star Citizen studio Cloud Imperium Games has begun the process of beefing up the action through the addition of new game modes. First up is Capture the Core, which as the title suggests is basically Capture the Flag, but in space.
Believe it or not, the Pillars of Eternity crowdfunding campaign is still underway. Obsidian raised nearly $4 million for the game on Kickstarter, but while that effort came to an end in October 2012 it's still possible to back the project directly through the developer. But not for much longer.
An awful lot of game studios and publishers these days seem to view free-to-play as the holy grail, but finding the sweet spot between giving the store away and taking unfair advantage of your players is a tricky business. League of Legends is one of the few games that really seems to have nailed it, and yet Ubisoft Blue Byte's Teut Weidemann says it's not a game that other publishers should emulate.
After nearly five years spent developing social and mobile games with his studio Loot Drop, John Romero has let slip that he's working on a fully-fledged shooter. Speaking on the Super Joystiq Podcast, Romero said that he's working on "several" games at the moment, with one of them to release under the Romero Games handle, rather than Loot Drop.

One Way Heroics is a neat take on the roguelite genre, but you might as well just grab the Humble Japan bundle for that

Croixleur Sigma is kinda like Devil May Cry's Blood Palace mode. Where you fight waves of enemies. It's pretty simple but it's fun to play, and most importantly the Steam Trading Cards are worth a lot (relatively) lol. Waifu based cards people!
99 spirits is an interesting litte puzzle game wich a light jRPG structure. I haven't really played much of it tho, and I am not sure if it's interesting enough for me to back too myself.
Most of the others are SHMUPs and hard 2D platformers which I haven't played so I can't say for those. I hear good things about La Mulana tho, if hardcore puzzle platformers with light combat is your thing.
