Probably the loudest thing in my current computer is the coil wine my 3090 make every time I load into a game. Once I start playing I don't really notice it and I just don't care enough to attempt to RMA it and hope I get a replacement this decade so I just keeping it.

If the coil whine only happens while loading a game (and the fps are several hundreds or even thousands because the GPU doesn't have anything to render), limiting the fps to 200 (or to the maximum Hz of your monitor) in the Nvidia driver should help.

Here are seven Nintendo Direct games also coming to Steam

I'm happy to see Stubbs returning.

So what kind of M.2 SSD do you guys use?
And how much storage space do you have?

I am thinking about cloning my Windows to a new drive since I am currently still on a SATA SSD.

I went with a Sabrent Rocket 4 and decided to go with 1TB after considering a 2TB version but I didn't feel the price jump was worth it. I may look at getting a 2nd m.2 in a few years when prices come closer to what todays 1TB are. I mainly chose to go with Sabrent due to them having way better price to performance than other brands at the time of purchase but I've also had good experiences with some of their other products.

1 TB Gen3x4 XPG drive. But believe me, unless you are transferring files on explorer you aren't going to notice a difference to a standard SSD in gaming or office apps. You'll need to wait for DirectStorage to have a chance of that.

Thank you for the advice.  I gave it a try and you are right it reduce the coil wine when I first open a game to almost nothing.  I can still faintly hear it but would not even notice it if I was not listening for it.  Before you could hear it from across the room.

A solid three fiddy @cap'n Yuri.

There wasn't much information about the game at the time (that 2019 video was strictly a mood-setter) but an open beta is coming in March, and today developer Cryptic Studios shared more about its equipment system and customization options.

PlayStation classic Ridge Racer was almost a PC game
https://www.pcgamer.com/playstation-classic-ridge-racer-was-almost-a-pc-game/
I've been reading The Games That Weren't, an interesting book about videogames that were made, or partly made, yet never saw the light of day. Minit was a nifty little Zelda-like with a grim twist: every 60 seconds its playable character mysteriously died. It's not a game you'd expect to spawn its own racer, but spawn one it has, in the form of Minit Fun Racer. It's available on Steam right now and publisher Devolver will donate all proceeds to charities, including Doctors Without Borders and Special Effect.
