I don't know about you guys, but I sure like the next month of Humble Choice:

Humble Choice for February 2021

Still, if that is a problem for EA, then it should have done something about it when the original game launched, not now. Now it's too late and the only thing that they'll achieve with it is piss of potential customers that don't like censorchip in their games, specially if it's retroactive.

There will be people who like this change, and some of them will buy the game too. Not sure they're gonna win any new customers by doing this though, so it's probably more of a loss sales-wise. I mean, who's going to think "I really hated how they presented female characters in Mass Effect but since they're going to fix it, I'll buy the game"? Or "I don't care about the game but they're doing good stuff so I'll support them"? On the other hand, a small amount of players are probably going to not buy the game because of this.

Sadly, I don't think that kind of crowd exists. You see, there's a lot of people that complain about what they don't like, but once the change happens, those complainers count that change as a victory without really giving it any value other than the fact that they've won. And then they simply move to complain about something else. They won't support the game.

On the other hand, those that won't buy the game because of this do exist, even if they're not that many.

I suppose there will always be modders to fix the censorship. Tbh if it was a major remaster that looked wildly improved, then maybe I wouldn't care much about the censorship since modders can add it and hell, create nude mods. But with EA asking full price, the remaster being lens flare central with minimal improvements to visuals overall and now this... Yea... It's gonna be a solid skip for me.

In other news Mass Effect LE going to be censored. I don't usually get annoyed at video game devs but shit whatever.. EA doesn't want my money anyways :)

....and 24 hours after release modders will of uncensored and restored the remasters to match the original.

Modders at Nexusmods doing devs gods work

Imagine being scared of butts. I hate current society. And it's only gonna get worse.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'm not sure modders will be able to fix this. EA probably has rendered the scene in a different angle so, unless the modders can import the data from the original game and make it making it work with these remasters, I doubt they'll be able to fix it.

But yeah, I'm 100% sure that there will be nude mods, if only to piss EA.

By the way, congrats, Yuri. Your beast is finally complete.

Hmm, may blow £1399 on a 6900 XT. PS5 arrived today, looked at the box and went meh.
