Great, now we'll have to fight not only the miners and scalpers, but also car manufacturers...

So what I'm hearing is I should wait for the 4080.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Now i know what to buy to play Cyberpunk. Putting in deposit for Model S.

PC Master race should be renamed to Waiting Master Race

looks like I'm skipping this gen. We even have e-tailers scalping in the UK as well because Covid tax >_>

People are paying an upper tier prices for lower tier cards. F that, not giving into greed.

Yeah it's sad as they are all long standing reputable retailers adding their own £50-100 "We know people will pay it tax" To make it even worse that is on top of the partners only making their high end GPU variants that are already £100-£150 above the MSRP.

People are also paying for those prices so they can get away with it. Tbh there should be a law in place to stop retailers from fixing and overcharging customers. Its bad enough that AiB's are doing it.

Now its like a double whammy and thats not even considering the miners are sweeping up said cards :/ I just think the FE cards were a scam to begin with. Nvidia weren't going to sell a lot of those cards and were never going to stick with MSRP with board partners.

By the way, Play Asia is currently selling GOG-keys for Cyberpunk for around €23

I've gone back and forth, but at this point I think I may skip and just build a whole new rig when the next gen comes around. Hopefully next time it won't be such a shitshow.

All I am really waiting for is the cpu but apparently, it's taking forever to come from the US. With some luck, it will come next week and even that's a maybe. Urghh this waiting!
