If that's what you call a miss leading post lmao!

Maybe it's about time you get a new Style as Trump's Style is so 2020

I can't tell if you trolling me or not, but let's just ignore the PS5 and focus on the PC result.

"while RTX 3070 is just 8.6 per cent faster....  RX 6800 XT's result to be off-pace, yet it delivered just 29.4 per cent of extra performance."

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2021-call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-pc-vs-ps5

This put the 6800xt around ~19% faster than geforce 3070, which is almost equal in the rtx performance. Ampere has 5% rtx performance advantage here if my math is correct and based on gaming benchmark from techpowerup (4k resolution).

Yes... Once you turned enough Ray Tracing settings down or off, Ampere's Ray Tracing advantage goes away cause... There isn't enough Ray Tracing effects to Tax Ampere's RT cores to show case it's advantages... This isn't a good Ray Tracing PC comparison because of all the Ray Tracing affects DF needed to turn down/off to match ps5's graphical settings...

I don't even know what you are trying to get at... Like are you trying to say that once you turn enough Ray Tracing settings down/off, Ampere's Ray Tracing advantage goes away? Cause no duh it does. Cause at that point, it's almost a Raster benchmark rather than a Ray Tracing benchmark, especially when it's just RT Shadows and RT AO which are the most basic forms of Ray Tracing and on top of that, DF turns RT AO off and RT shadows to medium. Not even Ultra...

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

In other news, The Medium has released it's PC requirements

Kind of the weird thing is that the storage goes from Min 50GB HDD, Recommended 50GB SSD, High 50GB HDD? Ultra High 50GB HDD???

Also you can get this on GamePass day 1 on PC and Xbox

For 6800xt, some games just scales badly with more gpu power.

Did you just counter your own point? Impressive.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

With that name, you should play it on Medium settings anyway

The HDD/SSD is not weird if you look closely: 50GB storage space is necessary. HDD is minimum and sufficient for the game without RT, but an SSD is strongly recommended either way. Even if they only write it once, the fact that the recommended minimum has an SSD is a dead giveaway for that. If you want to use RT however, you need an SSD. It's simple as that.

I guess Copy and Paste doesn't exist in The Medium's universe

Nah, it's just telling you things through a medium after all

If it were up to me, you would be banned from this thread for all your attempts to miss lead people

You know, the characteristics are almost like a certain green frog that was "removed" from this site some time ago. Constant downplay of PC side tech, boast of console side tech overlapping/surpassing whatever PC tech can dish out, an yet history ends up proving different in the long-run.

I don't think he's actually here in this main PC thread to actually discuss PC gaming, but more of a means to downplay it. That's the message I've been getting anyway, because he's hardly been posting much to do with PC games/PC tech, that doesn't have to do with a console comparison tech talk.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Pretty much. His posting history shows his intent is not a good one but until the mods do something about it, we are gonna have to deal with it I guess...

Given how long Kero lasted on this site, that could take years.
