Latest Epic Games Launcher Update fixes the high CPU usage bug/issue
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/latest-epic-games-launcher-update-fixes-high-cpu-usage-bug/
Last week there were several reports that the Epic Games Launcher client was causing a spike in temperature on some AMD Ryzen and Intel CPUs. There was a bug in the Epic games launcher gaming client which was causing some CPUs to run hotter even without any game running, as reported by multiple users on Reddit, and also tested and verified by Hot Hardware as well.
The Epic Games Launcher was reported to be continuously running some sort of relatively demanding process, and using some CPU resources even when it was running in the background, when the spike in CPU temp occurred. Thankfully, Epic Games has now addressed this issue via a new 11.0.2 Hotfix update for the client.
Sergiy Galyonkin, who is a director of publishing strategy at Epic Games, recently confirmed this on Twitter. The company’s development team has identified the issue, and a hotfix has been released.

Get private, custom Battlefield 3 servers with a new mod
https://www.pcgamer.com/get-private-custom-battlefield-3-servers-with-a-new-mod/
Battlefield 3 is finally free... of the tyranny of official servers. After five years in development, Venice Unleashed, or VU, has finally gone public. The mod reverse-engineers the server code of Battlefield 3 in order to produce a platform for not just privately-hosted servers, but for mods of every kind.
VU lets you configure dedicated servers, including mod tools, which is a blessing as the official Battlefield 3 servers have been struggling with cheaters for years. That, and prior to this you could only have a server via an EA-approved partner. VU also allows you can also host and play on dedicated servers for mods, like the community-made Reality Mod.

Dungeon Scrawl is an easy mapping tool for your online RPGs
https://www.pcgamer.com/dungeon-scrawl-is-an-easy-mapping-tool-for-your-online-rpgs/
Here's a neat little tool for all of you playing tabletop RPGs online: Dungeon Scrawl, a piece of free mapping software that's pretty simple to learn and has a bunch of presets that make maps look great in a variety of styles. It's not much harder to use than, say, MS Paint or the like, but gives results well beyond most other free programs I've encountered. Presets generate your modern-classic dungeon maps, complete with crosshatching at the edges, or a retro-TSR blueprint look, or maybe a sci-fi orange and black.

Soviet city-builder Workers & Resources has planes and tourism now
https://www.pcgamer.com/soviet-city-builder-workers-and-resources-has-planes-and-tourism-now/
Perhaps one of the most impressively detailed city building games out there right now, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is a bit bigger and more detailed with the introduction of airplanes, tourism, and the industrial resources to support them. The newest update adds airports, airplanes, and airplane production factories. The aluminum industry is also now in, with the mining of bauxite ore, processing into aluminum oxide, and finishing added to the already-extant resource supply chains. Tourism has popped up as well, with amusement parks and hotels for people to visit your country.

Update for my wireless couch setup. I am pleasantly surprised.

The mouse is incredible. It actually feels better than my wired mouse I had for years. I shouldn't be surprised since it's the usual Steelseries quality and comfort.
They keyboard is good. It usually takes quite a while for me to get used to a keyboard, but this one felt good from the start. The keys are actually really stiff for a rubberdome. The wrist rest is nice, but it's extremely flimsy. It basically almost falls off when you lift it, which is not a great quality for a keyboard that is meant to be moved around. Overall build quality is great though.

As for the couch experience, it's passable for now. Having a garbage PC means fist sized pixels and no Gsync on my gorgeous 65" OLED TV. The setup is almost good enough for Ziggurat, which is the by far the most demanding game for peripherals I play. The mouse is quite heavy in the back which makes it difficult to move fast and a lot, I might get easily fatigued in longer sessions. Time will tell.

I wish I had a Celeron right now. Might actually be able to get some frames.

Apple has become the very evil like thing they wanted to take down. I guess it was IBM and other tech back in days. I use some of their products but just doesn't feel that good.

It is impossible to have 100billion without being evil.

Also, I am thinking to get a AIO but I have been off of liquid cooling for over 5 years.

Any thoughts on this one?

Apparently they're all the same and nothing matters.

Meanwhile I'm thinking of maybe getting a D15 instead of a Kraken.

Funly enough, I have the D15 but I want to switch it up since I had air cooling for a while.
