Meh... most disappointing month this year IMHO.

Especially if you already got Yooka Laylee 2 for free from Epic.

Prince of Persia Remake to be revealed on September 10th at Ubisoft Forward

In August 2020, we informed you about a potential remake of Prince of Persia. And, from the looks of it, Ubisoft is indeed working on such a remake. According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Ubisoft plans to reveal Prince of Persia Remake on September 10th, during its Ubisoft Forward event.

FINALLY! Now give me a new Splinter Cell and Ubisoft can piss off again.

Skullgirls studio head lays off everyone who hadn't already quit
https://www.pcgamer.com/skullgirls-studio-head-lays-off-everyone-who-hadnt-already-quit/
Multiple employees of Skullgirls and Indivisible studio Lab Zero resigned recently, after allegations about studio head Mike Zaimont's history of sexual comments and inappropriate behavior, directed both at staff and members of the fighting game community, came to light. As of last week, Zaimont has laid off all remaining staff, as animator Jonathan Kim explained on Twitter, noting that Zaimont "hasn't agreed to a severance for them yet."

Eesh...

There are some good games in the selection, man. Vampire The Masquerade, Catherine, Forager are quite good games, as are Evoland (albeit short) and Strange Brigade. Don't know about the rest.

They may not suit your personal taste, but it's not too bad.

Don't forget about Beyond Good and Evil 2. They still have to finish and ship the damned game.

And yeah, looks like the guy from Lab Zero prefers to kill the studio before stepping down as director/president. Speaks a lot about him.

I'm actually somewhat tempted to get this month's Humble Choice - after requesting a refund in August because I forgot to pause my subscription. There are no huge hits like there was with e.g. Civilization VI a long time ago, but there a definitely a few games I'm more or less interested in.
