Intel is at it again, claiming an Intel platform would be both cheaper and faster than AMD... by pitting a i7 10700K against a Ryzen 9 3900XT and just comparing games. Cherry picking at it's finest.

At the same time, AMD's Renoir platform is showing absolute Monster RAM oC capabilities by setting a new record with getting DDR4 up to devilish 6666 Mhz

Also, here's a bonus article and a question for you all:

When a game asks you to 'Press Any Key,' which key do you press?
https://www.pcgamer.com/when-a-game-asks-you-to-press-any-key-which-key-do-you-press/
Many of us have been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator this week, looking for interesting places to visit, tweaking settings to improve our performance, and digging through menus to figure out how to turn on autopilot.
But we all start with the same first step: Microsoft Flight Simulator, in an ancient gaming tradition, begins by asking us to 'Press Any Key.'
So, when confronted with this choice, which key do you press? The space bar? Escape? Tab? Right Curly Bracket? Or are you a mouse-clicker?
>> If I have the mousse in hand, I click. If I have a controller, I press whatever key, usually the A(xbox controller). In any other situation, the space bar.

On my old computer, this here: https://www.getdigital.eu/Any-Key.html

My old Logitech G15 had it's G6 macro key replaced with that key. Sadly can't find any pictures of it.

So yeah, I literally hit the any key to continue...

lol! That's awesome.

mostly agree, even though I can add some ~$300 on top for my extras (Blu-Ray 4K drive, card reader, extra silent hardware)

I don't agree with that list at all. $2000 won't even give you a high end GPU, let alone a whole build.

RTX 2080 Super not high-end now? I think you mean enthusiast (Ti/Titan). Unless I'm missing the sarcasm :P

Here what I made on PC part picker with a budget of $2000. Granted you can shuffle things around like cheaper PSU and case and HDD depending on what you need and spend the difference in a higher end CPU for a fairly small gain for gaming. But all are high end components.

One quote from article "The only areas the Dynamite TNT2 Ultra is lacking in are with it's high price, $229.99 is considerably higher than what you're probably used to paying for."

Just thought I'd gander PC era for a few tid bits of their news, and I ehard talk about Crysis Remaster being exclusive to el shitty Chinese store and well wouldn't ya know, it is.

Because of fucking course it is.

I really don't like wishing death upon others, but boy do I hate a rich slimy fucker trying to dick around with an open platform, and trying to turn it into a closed one. Not even a version for the remaster on GoG either, fuck free choice when it comes to a billionaire.

Microsoft Flight Simulator expected to generate $2.6B in PC hardware sales in 3 years
https://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-expected-to-generate-dollar26b-in-pc-hardware-sales-in-3-years/
Microsoft Flight Simulator will generate $2.6 billion in PC gaming hardware sales in the next three years, says research firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR) . From flight sticks to high-end GPUs, the business of simulated flying is soaring thanks to the launch of the expansive title.
The research firm is assuming sales of around 2.27 million units for Microsoft Flight Simulator over the next three years, which will likely mean some variation from that $2.6 billion figure, all told. Still, anything near that grand total and we're looking at a simulator with a significant and lasting impact on the hardware market.
>> The fact that fliying sticks are so expensive helps with that figure.
