@vivster no worries. Thought it looked like a decent laptop for the price... actually kinda makes me want to get one for myself lol.
I'm hoping the current line of Ryzen chipsets drop even more come release. I wouldn't mind upgrading to the 3700X if it was like $100 cheaper than the XT.

Ikr? I wanted to get a Surface book for such a long time and I almost got one around Surface book 2 but I was like f it and I waited. Surface book 3 turned out to be meh as fuck but now, if the Surface book 4 gets 4800U which it should since it uses the same CPU as the other Surface devices, that is going to be nuts!
I think I just might skip my XPS 17 purchase for a year and use my gaming laptop for work until the Surface book 4 comes out.

Yea it's not their Summer sale yet. It's mainly for demos of future games and developer interviews and etc

Good call if rumours are true it's gonna be a beast of a hybrid. One of the best things about these devices is that it's many uses of consuming media. I read manga on mine just as well as watching videos and browsing the web. Even plays old games like half life 2. This has comparable CPU to desktop and can play modern titles it's crazy to see how far we've come.

Well, AMD has decided to skip 3700X and there's no XT version of it.
How much do you want it to be? You can alredy find it for £270.

Yep. I just downloaded the Iron Harvest demo and I'm about to give it a go.
