DSOGaming Christmas 2018 Giveaway – Win 18 PC Games
https://www.dsogaming.com/editorial/dsogaming-christmas-2018-giveaway-win-18-pc-games/
And it’s that time of the year again. While our Top 10 Most Optimized PC Games of 2018 has not gone live yet, we’ve decided to alter this year’s giveaway. As such, we’ll be giving away 13 games from smaller studios that, in our opinion, could benefit from some extra exposure.
But wait… I can already read your mind… small games for a Christmas giveaway? Blasphemy, how can this be? Therefore, we’ll be also giving away the first five games of our Top 10 Most Optimized PC Games of 2018. To be honest, we haven’t determined that list yet so we can’t really tell you right now which are these five triple-A games. As for the other 13 games, you can find among them GRIP, GRIS, 2084, Book of Demons and more.
>> You have time to take part on it until December 23rd.
At Fanatical, there are three things worth mentioning:
SOFTWARE/DRIVERS
Discord is offering developers a 90/10 revenue split
https://www.pcgamer.com/discord-is-offering-developers-a-9010-revenue-split/
Discord, which started selling games through its chat platform in August, will allow developers to self-publish games with a 90/10 revenue split from 2019. This comes not long after Epic announced that it would offer a better split than Steam, only taking 12 percent of the game’s revenue.
“We talked to a lot of developers, and many of them feel that current stores are not earning their 30% of the usual 70/30 revenue share,” reads the announcement. “Because of this, we now see developers creating their own stores and launchers to distribute their games instead of focusing on what’s really important — making great games and cultivating amazing communities.
So from 2019, Discord is turning its store into a “self-serve game publishing platform”. Any developer will be able to publish on the store and keep 90 percent of their revenue. The remaining 10 percent covers operating costs, apparently, and could be lowered.

Steam's most wishlisted games might surprise you
https://www.pcgamer.com/sekiro-shadows-die-twice-tops-list-of-most-wishlisted-steam-games/
Dark Souls developer From Software's next game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, is currently top of Steam's wishlist chart, followed by the Resident Evil 2 remake and Metro Exodus in third. I didn't even know you could see which games were most wishlisted until industry event organiser Simon Carless pointed it out on Twitter today, but it might be a useful way of knowing what should be on your radar.
The list appears to rank games that have been most wishlisted recently, rather than the most wishlisted games of all time. Behind Sekiro, the Resi 2 remake and Metro Exodus is Total War: Three Kingdoms, action RPG Biomutant and The Outer Worlds, the RPG that blends Firefly and Fallout.
Rounding out the top 10 are Square Enix's shooter Left Alive (which David called "underwhelming" in his preview) Studio Wildcard's pirate MMO Atlas, The Division 2 and Tropico 6, which Phil reckons could be the definitive edition of the island builder.
